Všechno začíná vždy u matky. Byla jedinou osobou na světě, které se bál. Pomalu jsem se dostal do jeho hlavy. Byl stejný jako ona. Neměl s nikým soucit a rád chodil temnými ulicemi. Byl na lovu. Viděl jsem utrpení jeho obětí, cítil jsem krev, která unikala z proříznuté tepny. Tolik bolesti, tolik utrpení. Zbyl jenom strach a nenávist. Byl predátorem, kterého, když konečně chytili, tak dostal veškerou dostupnou péči. Na oběti si, stejně jako vždycky, nikdo nevzpomněl.
První moje setkání s maďarskými GUTTED proběhlo na koncertě. Kapela se mi tenkrát hodně líbila a tak jsem si koupil jejich minulou nahrávku (recenze na "Martyr Creation" a rozhovor jsou odkazovány dole pod článkem). Je tedy pro mě zcela logické, že jsem začal poslouchat i novinku "A Path To Ruin". Jedná se opět o nekompromisní brutální death metal, kombinovaný s grindcore a technikou. A je to znovu masakr, přesně podle mého gusta!
Ostré riffy ve stylu třeba takových GORGASM, IMMOLATION, DEEDS OF FLESH, NILE, HATE ETERNAL, ORIGIN, spousta temné energie a touha ničit hudbou. Maďaři se vrátili ve velmi dobré formě. Vytrhnou vám vnitřnosti z těla a donutí vás pokleknout. Songy v sobě mají velký tlak a nahrubo nasekanou tmu. Jsou napsány s elegancí a nadšením. Líbí se mi poctivý přístup. Devastující zvuk, hromada zajímavých momentů, krvavá šmouha po poslechu, která vám zůstane ve vašem mozku. Kosti praskají tlakem a já mohu napsat jen jediné - novinku si opravdu užívám. A to i přesto, že nebývám v tomhle stylu zase tolik častým hostem. Jenže atmosféra celé nahrávky je velmi přitažlivá. Jako veřejná poprava, jako horor, který vás děsí a stejně se na něj díváte. GUTTED vám vymáchají obličej v kaluži plné krve. Odpadá vám maso od kostí a stane se tak v rytmech nového alba "A Path To Ruin". Jedná se o zkušenou kapelu, která přesně ví, co a jak chce hrát (není divu, vznik téhle smečky se datuje do roku 1998). Má svůj vlastní výraz, ksicht, který si s jinými nespletete. Pokud tedy rádi a často trávíte svůj čas na pitevně nebo na jatkách, neváhejte ani chvilku. Hraje se zde přesně pro vás. A teď už mě prosím nechte, musím vyrazit do ulic. Nad městem se vznáší černý mrak. Nastal čas. Brutální, technický death metal s příměsí zkažené krve!

My first encounter with Hungarian GUTTED was at a concert. I liked the band a lot at the time, so I bought their previous record (the review of "Martyr Creation" and the interview are linked at the bottom of the article). So it is quite logical for me that I started listening to the new release "A Path To Ruin" as well. It is again uncompromising brutal death metal, combined with grindcore and techno. And it's a massacre again, exactly to my taste!
Sharp riffs in the style of GORGASM, IMMOLATION, DEEDS OF FLESH, NILE, HATE ETERNAL, ORIGIN, lots of dark energy and the desire to destroy with music. Hungarians came back in very good form. They will rip your guts out and make you kneel. The songs have a lot of pressure and coarsely chopped darkness in them. They are written with elegance and enthusiasm. I like the honest approach. Devastating sound, loads of interesting moments, a bloody blur of listening that stays in your brain. Bones are cracking with pressure and I can only write one thing - I really enjoy the novelty. And that's despite the fact that I'm not a frequent guest in this style. But the atmosphere of the whole record is very appealing. Like a public execution, like a horror movie that scares you and you watch it anyway. GUTTED will wash your face in a pool of blood. Flesh falls off your bones and it happens to the rhythms of the new album "A Path To Ruin". This is an experienced band that knows exactly what they want to play and how they want to play it (no wonder, the formation of this pack dates back to 1998). It has its own expression, a face you won't mistake for any other. So if you like and often spend your time in the autopsy room or the slaughterhouse, don't hesitate a moment. This is the place for you. And now, please leave me alone, I have to hit the streets. There's a black cloud over the city. It's time. Brutal, technical death metal with a touch of bad blood!
