Obličej rozdrásaný do krve. Klečí ve své kobce a řve do temnoty. Šílenství? Démoni? Nikdo netuší. Mluví divným jazykem, jeho oči hledí do tmy. Začalo to pomalu. Trávil svůj život jenom ve stínu. Vyhledával místa, kde se stalo něco zlého. Rozmlouval s nemrtvými. Mraky byly nízko a v jeho duši chlad. Nekonečný mráz. Představte si pradávný obřad. Je jeho obětí a poslouchá stále dokola nové album řeckých black metalistů DECIPHER.

Když jejich novinku poslouchám, napadají mě jako první slova - krvavá mlha, smrt, absolutní tma, zlo, špína a nenávist. Vše je podřízeno temnotě. Tohle album vám uvaří mozek ve vlastní šťávě, prokleje vás a pohřbí zaživa. Vítejte v záhrobí, v zemi nekonečného utrpení.

"Arcane Paths To Resurrection" je okultní seancí, šíleným atakem, hudbou, která vám pronikne do krve. Pomalu, postupně, jako prudký jed. Pokud máte rádi smečky jako ULCERATE, GORGUTS, SUNLESS, NOCTAMBULIST, DYSGNOSTIC, NORSE, mohla by se vám líbit i tato nahrávka. Mám neodbytný pocit, že mě při poslechu někdo sleduje. Zlostné oči ve tmě, záblesk nože, teď už to vím, já jsem tou obětí z úvodu dnešní recenze. Pánové mě vzali přímo do pekla. Přikovali mě svojí hudbou na zeď. Tyhle řetězy nelze roztrhnout! Jsou, stejně jako tato nahrávka, ukovány z té nejkvalitnější oceli. Riffy s příchutí zkažené krve. Tma, absolutní tma, jako bych se procházel ve smradlavých močálech. Vyděšené tváře utopenců, kosti vyskládané u cesty do tvaru pentagramu. Poklekni a přidej hlasitost! Troufám si tvrdit, že se album opravdu povedlo. Oceňuji morbidní, chladný zvuk, líbí se mi černobílý, monumentální obal (Artem Grigoryev). Prosévám mezi prsty prach svých předků. Toulám se nočními ulicemi a poslouchám "Arcane Paths To Resurrection" stále dokola. Včera našli kousek u cesty oběšence. Měl na čele vypálený cejch. Prokletý, říkám si stále dokola. Taková je i nová deska řeckých maniaků. Slyšte ozvěny ze záhrobí! Démonický, mrazivý black metal! Inferno!

If you like bands like ULCERATE, GORGUTS, SUNLESS, NOCTAMBULIST, DYSGNOSTIC, NORSE, you might also like this record. I get the nagging feeling that someone is watching me while I listen to it. Angry eyes in the dark, the flash of a knife, now I know, I am the victim from the opening of today's review. The gentlemen have taken me straight to hell. They nailed me to the wall with their music. You can't break these chains! They are, like this record, forged from the finest steel. Riffs with a taste of bad blood. Darkness, absolute darkness, like walking in a stinking swamp. Scared faces of drowned men, bones stacked in a pentagram by the roadside. Kneel down and turn up the volume! I dare say the album was a real success. I appreciate the morbid, cold sound, I like the black and white, monumental cover (Artem Grigoryev). I sift the dust of my ancestors between my fingers. I wander the night streets and listen to "Arcane Paths To Resurrection" over and over again. Yesterday they found a hanged man by the side of the road. He had a brand burned into his forehead. Cursed, I tell myself over and over. So is the new Greek Maniacs record. Hear the echoes from beyond the grave! Demonic, freezing black metal! Inferno!
