Probudím se ze zlého a šíleného snu a realita je ještě víc krutá. Chodím ulicemi a potkávám přízraky. Mají tváře bez očí, přesto děsivé pohledy. Smějí se jedovatě a já přemýšlím, jestli jsem už v pekle. Dívám se k nebi a cítím temnou energii, která ke mě proudí z vesmíru a hudby. Američtí ULTHAR jsou zde s novou deskou. Respektive, se dvěma. Jedna se jmenuje "Anthronomicon", stejně jako skladba na dnes recenzovaném albu "Helionomicon".
Zpočátku opět není lehké hudbu těchto tmářů pochopit. Chce svůj čas a náladu. Její síla nejvíc vynikne za tmy, v opuštěných ulicích. Daleko od tepajícího města, mezi špínou, hnusem a chorobami, které dlouhé roky spaly hluboko pod zemí.
Na počátku bylo slovo a nebo možná spíše dobrý riff. Těch mají ULTHAR na rozdávání. Jsou opět prudkým jedem, který působí postupně. Do žil jej dostanete pouze poslechem "Helionomicon". Účinky jsou podobné, jako po požití meskalinu. Uvidíte morbidní obrazy, o kterých jste si mysleli, že nejsou vaší součástí. Obě skladby na mě opravdu působí velmi naléhavě, syrově a surově. Zároveň jsou chladné, jsou čepelí, čerstvě nabroušeného skalpelu. Na kovové město dávno padla mlha a smog. Každý večer umírám a znovu se rodím, podříznut v opuštěné ulici. Nemusíme se bavit o zvuku, ani o obalu, vše je v nejlepším pořádku, posluchač se může soustředit na nápady, na jednotlivé motivy, na atmosféru, která je velmi zákeřná a podmanivá. Vnímat "Helionomicon" je podobné, jako se dívat na čerstvě proříznutou tepnu. Život pomalu uniká ven, rozpouští se ve vzduchu a odlétá do vesmíru. Je to sen a nebo krutá realita? To už nechám na vás. Já mohu jen potvrdit, že ve mě novinka probouzí velkou spoustu emocí, představ, chvílemi nevím, jestli bdím a nebo zažívám jednu z nočních můr. Je velmi těžké volit slova, lepší je poslouchat a nechat na sebe muziku působit. Chodím ulicemi a potkávám přízraky. Mají tváře bez očí, přesto děsivé pohledy. I wake up from a bad and crazy dream and the reality is even more cruel. I walk the streets and meet ghosts. They have faces without eyes, yet terrifying looks. They laugh venomously and I wonder if I'm already in hell. I look up to the sky and feel the dark energy that flows to me from the universe and the music. American ULTHAR are here with a new album. Or rather, two. One is called "Anthronomicon", just like the track on the album reviewed today, "Helionomicon".
At the beginning it is again not easy to understand the music of these darkies. It takes its time and mood. Its power is most evident in the dark, in deserted streets. Away from the pulsating city, amongst the filth, disgust and diseases that have slept deep underground for years.
In the beginning there was a word, or maybe more likely a good riff. ULTHAR has plenty of those. They are again a violent poison that works gradually. You can only get it in your veins by listening to "Helionomicon". The effects are similar to those of mescaline. You will see morbid images you thought were not part of you. Both tracks really have a very urgent, raw and brutal effect on me. At the same time they are cold, they are the blade of a freshly sharpened scalpel. The fog and smog has long since fallen on the metal city. Every night I die and I am born again, cut down in a deserted street. We don't need to talk about the sound or the cover, everything is in the best order, the listener can concentrate on the ideas, on the individual motifs, on the atmosphere, which is very insidious and captivating. Feeling "Helionomicon" is similar to looking at a freshly cut artery. Life slowly leaks out, dissolves in the air and flies away into space. Is it a dream or a harsh reality? I'll leave that up to you. I can only confirm that the new album awakens in me a great emotions, imaginations, at times I don't know if I am awake or experiencing one of my nightmares.
