Vystoupil ze stínu a měl ve tváři zlo. Démon z děsivých nočních snů. Ďábel temnoty. Má mnoho podob, stejně jako extrémní hudba. Vždy jsem vyhledával hlavně kapely, které nezapomínaly na chladné melodie, na atmosféru plnou vzteku, špíny, mrazu a beznaděje. SACRILEGION jsou ze Spojených států a na cestu plnou bolesti se vydali poprvé v roce 2018. Letos nám předkládají své první dlouhohrající album. Řeže mě ihned, od prvního okamžiku.
Pánové hrají postaru, se vztekem v riffech, se silou a nadšením, které k této hudbě patří, jako dřevěná rakev k mrtvému. Vítejte v dávno opuštěném chrámu, ve kterém se uctívají staré, lety ověřené postupy. Zvuk je morbidní a obal představuje ďábla v jeho šílené podobě. Pokud máte rádi smrtící kov, který žhne a pálí a zároveň u něj umrznete, tak neváhejte ani chvilku.
Debutové album "From Which Nightmares Crawl" je určeno všem fanouškům třeba takových MORBID ANGEL, BOLT THROWER. Ve skladbách se potkává brutalita a syrovost s melodiemi. Songy zní velmi uvěřitelně, dobře se pamatují a je radost se k nim vracet. Kapela má svůj rukopis, vlastní výraz a to se v dnešní době počítá. Nahrávku řadím rozhodně k tomu nejlepšímu, co jsem měl možnost v roce 2022 slyšet. Procházím se tmou, nekonečnými chodbami podsvětí. Ze stěn okapává hnis a řev ze záhrobí je mým průvodcem. Světlo jsem již neviděl několik dní, poslouchám totiž SACRILEGION. Smečku, která je pro mě velkým překvapením. Nečekal jsem vůbec nic, myslel jsem si, že ji zařadím po bok stovky jiných retro skupin, ale není tomu tak. Pánové totiž umí napsat skvělé motivy. Jsou to muzikanti s darem od samotného Satana. Mám rád, když se mohu toulat opuštěným městem. Uprostřed noci, kdy jsou stíny dlouhé a lampy jenom poblikávají. Američané nahráli desku, která ve mě opravdu probouzí černé a šílené noční můry. Jsou jako sen, který se neustále vrací. Je plný zkažené krve, nářku a bolesti. Přesně v této podobě mám smrtící kov nejraději. Pokud to máte nastavené jako já, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. Dostanete pořádnou porci syrového, zkaženého masa. Podáváno bude na víku od rakve. Stačí jen ochutnat a přidat pořádně hlasitost. Nechte na sebe působit tuhle krutou muziku. Nejlépe potmě, o samotě nebo poblíž hřbitova. Hrobka s nápisem SACRILEGION vydala skvělé poselství. Budete navěky prokleti! Amen! Temné, mrazivé death metalové ozvěny z onoho světa!

He stepped out of the shadows and had an evil look on his face. A demon from a terrifying nightmare. The devil of darkness. It takes many forms, like extreme music. I've always looked for bands that don't forget the cold melodies, the atmosphere full of anger, dirt, coldness and hopelessness. SACRILEGION are from the United States and first embarked on a journey full of pain in 2018. This year they present us with their first full-length album. It cut me immediately, from the very first moment.
The gents play in an old-fashioned way, with rage in the riffs, with the power and enthusiasm that belongs to this music, like a wooden coffin to the dead. Welcome to a long-abandoned temple where old, time-honoured practices are worshipped. The sound is morbid and the cover represents the devil in his mad form. If you like deadly metal that glows and burns while you freeze to death, don't hesitate a moment.
The debut album "From Which Nightmares Crawl" is intended for all fans of such bands as MORBID ANGEL, BOLT THROWER. In the songs brutality and rawness meets melodies. The songs sound very believable, they are easy to remember and a pleasure to come back to. The band has its own signature, its own expression and that counts nowadays. I definitely rank the recording as one of the best I've had the opportunity to hear in 2022. I walk through the dark, endless corridors of the underworld. Pus dripping from the walls and the roar from beyond is my guide. I haven't seen a light for days, I'm listening to SACRILEGION. A pack that comes as a great surprise to me. I wasn't expecting anything, I thought I'd put it alongside hundreds of other retro bands, but it's not so. The gentlemen know how to write great themes. They are musicians with a gift from Satan himself. I love being able to wander through a deserted city. In the middle of the night, when the shadows are long and the lamps only flicker. The Americans have made a record that really brings out the black and crazy nightmares in me. They're like a dream that keeps coming back. It's full of bad blood, wailing and pain. That's the kind of death metal I like best. If you're set like me, don't hesitate a moment. You're gonna get a good helping of raw, rotten meat. Served on a coffin lid. All you have to do is taste it and turn up the volume. Let this cruel music affect you. Preferably in the dark, alone or near a cemetery. The tomb with the inscription SACRILEGION sends a great message. You will be damned forever! Amen! Dark, freezing death metal echoes from the other world!
