Objevil se pokaždé na místech, kde se stalo něco zlého. Usmíval se. Byl stínem, nasával smutek a násilí. Uprostřed davu, ve kterém si natáčel umírající. U poprav i bouraček. Připomínal démona temnoty. Lidé o něm říkali, že není z tohoto světa. Poprvé jsem ho potkal, když hořel kostel. Stál opodál a díval se. Na jeho pohled nikdy nezapomenu. Ďábel má totiž mnoho podob. Stejně jako thrash metal.

Dnes se můžete setkat se spoustou retro kapel. Některé umí hrát, ale většině to zkrátka nevěřím. Poslouchám už stejně převážně staré nahrávky. A když zavelí k útoku AGGRESSION, stojím v první řadě. Dívám se znovu do ohně a nechávám kapelu, aby mi odtrhala všechno maso od kostí. Hergot, tahle deska zase řeže tou správnou stranou nože!

Novinka je jízdou na horské dráze, šíleným pádem do temnoty, u kterého můžete potkat Antikrista na každém kroku. Kanaďané hrají postaru, plesnivě, s takovou tou patinou ve skladbách, která se podle mého nedá naučit. Přesto nebo právě proto je nahrávka velmi pestrá. Melodické vyhrávky, masakrující úprky, jedovatý vokál. V kapele se sice vystřídala velká spousta muzikantů, ale to nic nemění na tom, že jsem se k desce rád a často vracel. Otevíral jsem stále dokola železná vrata do pekla a usmíval se stejně jako ten šílenec z úvodu dnešního článku. AGGRESSION vás rozdrtí ve stylu SACRIFICE, SLAUGHTER, DEVASTATION, INFERNÄL MÄJESTY, DEMOLITION HAMMER, MORBID SAINT, RIGOR MORTIS. Je to zkrátka masakr ze staré školy, který si v sobě ale udržel pověstnou černou jiskru. Jsem už línej starej pes a málokdy zvednu hlavu, pokud se objeví nějaká "zaručeně skvělá kapela, která hraje thrash metal", ale tentokrát mi hudba chutná jako ta nejshnilejší porce zkaženého masa. Jakoby mi někdo drtil hlavu velkým kladivem. Jsem rozsekán na malé kousky a tančím v děsivém rytmu pradávný rituální tanec pro vyvolávání zlých sil. Myslím, že se kapele povedlo skvělé album. Navíc se mi líbí zvuk, obal, zkrátka všechno. Není co řešit, ďábel má totiž mnoho podob. Devastující thrash metal, který hoří temným plamenem!

You can meet a lot of retro bands today. Some of them can play, but most of them I just don't believe them. I listen to mostly old records anyway. And when AGGRESSION comes on the attack, I'm in the front row. I look into the fire again and let the band tear all the flesh from my bones. Damn, this record cuts with the right side of the knife again!

The new release is a roller coaster ride, a mad plunge into darkness where you can meet the Antichrist at every step. The Canadians play old-fashioned, moldy, with a patina in the songs that I don't think can be taught. Yet, or maybe because of that, the recording is very varied. Melodic breakdowns, massacring runs, venomous vocals. The band may have had a large number of musicians, but that doesn't change the fact that I like to come back to the record often. I opened the iron gates to hell over and over again and smiled just like the madman in the opening of today's article. AGGRESSION will crush you in the style of SACRIFICE, SLAUGHTER, DEVASTATION, INFERNÄL MÄJESTY, DEMOLITION HAMMER, MORBID SAINT, RIGOR MORTIS. It's simply an old school massacre, but one that has retained its proverbial black spark. I'm already a lazy old dog and I rarely raise my head if some "guaranteed great band that plays thrash metal" appears, but this time the music tastes like the most rotten portion of spoiled meat. It's like somebody is crushing my head with a big hammer. I'm being chopped into little pieces and dancing to the eerie rhythm of an ancient ritual dance to summon evil forces. I think the band made a great album. Plus, I like the sound, the cover art, everything. There's no need to worry, the devil has many forms. Devastating thrash metal that burns with a dark flame!
