Přikovaná ke zdi, čeká na další bolest. Už zažila všechno možné. Trhání nehtů, řezání do kůže. Ohýbání v kole i topení. Přesto neodvolala. Stále věří, že existuje spravedlnost. Představuje si, že někde nahoře je alespoň kousek světla. Místo toho přichází pálení rozžhaveným železem. Umírá pomalu a stále hledí směrem, o kterém si myslí, že směřuje k nebi. Šeptá tiché modlitby k Bohu, ale odpovědí je jí jenom jedovatý smích.
Na tenhle příběh jsem si vzpomněl, když jsem poslouchal novou desku německých brutálních klasiků TERRIBLE SICKNESS. Jedná se přesně o takový ten druh masakru, který si potřebujete narvat do hlavy pod tlakem po těžkém dni, po večerních zprávách nebo jenom tak, když vám připadá dnešní svět zlý a zkažený.
Základem je tradiční brutální smrtící kov v americkém stylu. Přidávány jsou shnilé kousky grindu, špíny a nenávisti. Při poslechu si připadám, jako by mě někdo opravdu zavřel v devadesátých letech minulého století do plesnivé studené kobky. Pánové sice nepřinášejí nic nového, ale jejich morbidní práce je poctivá, uvěřitelná a velmi dobře se poslouchá. Žádné zbytečné ekvilibristiky, jak je tomu dnes zvykem, ale spíše syrové kusy nahrubo nasekaného masa. TERRIBLE SICKNESS ale nezapomínají ani na melodie. Ty jsou ostré jako břitva a řežou hluboko do tkání. S kapelou jsem se setkal poprvé a musím říct, že se mi jejich tvorba líbí. Je pro mě důkazem, že ještě existují opuštěné márnice, zakázaná jatka a další místa zlých násilných činů. Zvuk je masivní, mohutný, obal temný a odkazuje na černé stránky naší historie. Chvíle, které jsem trávil s "Flesh for the Insatiable", jsem si opravdu užíval. Viděl jsem před sebou obrazy z úvodu dnešního článku, kýval jsem se do rytmu jako šílený hrobník, s chutí jsem se k nahrávce vracel a cítil se jako starý patolog. Němci dokáží být mocní, divocí, krvaví a démoničtí. Rád bych je viděl v nějakém malém klubu, nejlépe pozdě v noci, když ožívají přízraky. TERRIBLE SICKNESS mohu doporučit všem starým bastardům, kteří věří v klasické postupy a dokáží ocenit morbidní atmosféru. Brutální death metalová morová rána!

Chained to the wall, waiting for more pain. She's been through everything. Tearing her nails, cutting into her skin. Bending over in a wheel and drowning. Yet she hasn't backed down. She still believes there is justice. She imagines that somewhere up there is at least a little bit of light. Instead comes the burning of a red-hot iron. She dies slowly, still looking in the direction she thinks is heavenward. She whispers silent prayers to God, but all she gets in response is a venomous laugh.
I was reminded of this story while listening to the new album by German brutal classics TERRIBLE SICKNESS. This is exactly the kind of carnage you need to cram into your head under pressure after a hard day, after the evening news or just when you feel the world today is evil and corrupt.
The basis is the traditional brutal American-style death metal. Added are rotten bits of grind, filth and hate. Listening to it, I feel like someone really locked me in a moldy cold dungeon in the 1990s. The gentlemen may not bring anything new to the table, but their morbid work is honest, believable and very listenable. No unnecessary equivilism as is the custom nowadays, but rather raw chunks of roughly chopped meat. But TERRIBLE SICKNESS don't forget the melodies either. They are razor sharp and cut deep into the tissues. I met the band for the first time and I have to say that I like their work. It proves to me that abandoned morgues, forbidden slaughterhouses and other places of evil violence still exist. The sound is massive, powerful, the cover is dark and refers to the black pages of our history. I really enjoyed the moments I spent with "Flesh for the Insatiable". I could see the images from the opening of today's article before me, swaying to the beat like a mad undertaker, revisiting the record with gusto and feeling like an old pathologist. The Germans can be powerful, savage, bloody and demonic. I'd love to see them in a small club, preferably late at night when the ghosts come to life. I can recommend TERRIBLE SICKNESS to all the old bastards who believe in classic procedures and can appreciate the morbid atmosphere. Brutal death metal plague!
