Tváře utopenců pod hladinou. Děs v očích, nafouklá těla. Mlha nad močálem je tichým svědkem ohavných činů, které se zde staly. Daleko za městem zde byly pochovávány dlouhé roky mrtvoly prokletých. Bílé kosti, nářek nemrtvých. Nikdy nenajdou klid, nikdy nespočinou. Jsou jako přízraky, které se toulají mezi naším a oním světem. Jsou jako death metal, který hrají britští VACUOUS. Existuje již jenom smrt a nicota. A také hudba, která vás pohřbí zaživa.
O téhle smečce jsme již na našich stránkách psali. Bylo to před dvěma lety, když kapela vydala EP "Katabasis" (odkaz na recenzi a rozhovor naleznete dole pod článkem). Pánové i letos pokračují ve své morbidní práci. A dělají ji velmi dobře. Opravdově, krutě a surově. Přesně způsobem, jakým se má smrtící kov hrát. Vítejte v nekonečných močálech smrti!
"Dreams of Dysphoria" je krvavým otiskem ve stylu třeba takových NEKROVAULT, COSMOVORE, AUTOPSY, INCANTATION, CIANIDE, CRUCIAMENTUM, ATARAXY, TOMB MOLD. Zvuk, obal, vše je podřízeno jedinému. Zničit vás! Líbí se mi způsob, jakým VACUOUS napsali své skladby. Jsou uvěřitelné, syrové, mokvající. Budete se těšit na tmu, na černou noc. Až vyrazíte na dlouhý výlet bez konce. Už nikdy nespatříte ani kousek světla. Budete navěky prokleti. Ostré riffy, pochmurné nálady. Svět je zase jednou zahalený v krvavé mlze. Britové sice čerpají inspiraci ve starých death metalových spisech, ale dělají to elegantně a s vkusem. Nejsou jen kopií věcí minulých, ale přidávají i kus sebe samého. Při poslechu vám shnijí všechny vnitřnosti v těle. Lebka se rozskočí na tisíc kousků. Už navěky budete prokletí! Amen! Jakoby mě hudba na "Dreams of Dysphoria" přenesla na druhý břeh, za řeku Styx. Platím převozníkovi vlastní duší, beru si s sebou tohle album a těším se na všechny, kteří jsou již na onom světě. Tahle deska je plná skvělých momentů, zadřela se mi hluboko pod kůži. Troufám si tvrdit, že se nahrávka nebývale povedla. Ocení ji všichni fanoušci absolutní tmy a zatracení. Existuje již jenom smrt a nicota. A také hudba, která vás pohřbí zaživa. Poslouchejte pozorně! We have already written about this band on our website. It was two years ago, when the band released the EP "Katabasis" (link to the review and interview can be found below the article). This year the gentlemen continue their morbid work. And they do it very well. Real, cruel and brutal. Exactly the way death metal should be played. Welcome to the endless swamps of death!
"Dreams of Dysphoria" is a bloody imprint in the style of NEKROVAULT, COSMOVORE, AUTOPSY, INCANTATION, CIANIDE, CRUCIAMENTUM, ATARAXY, TOMB MOLD. The sound, the cover, everything is subordinated to one thing. To destroy you! I like the way VACUOUS wrote their songs. They're believable, raw, swamping. You'll enjoy the darkness, the black night. When you go on a long trip with no end. You'll never see a bit of light again. You will be cursed forever. Sharp riffs, gloomy moods. The world is once again shrouded in a bloody mist. The Brits may take inspiration from the old death metal scriptures, but they do it with elegance and grace. They're not just copying things of the past, they're adding a piece of themselves. Listening to them will rot all the insides of your body. Your skull will split into a thousand pieces. You'll be cursed forever! Amen! It's as if the music on "Dreams of Dysphoria" transported me to the other side of the river Styx. Paying the ferryman with my own soul, I take this album with me and look forward to all those who are already on the other side. This record is full of great moments, it dug deep under my skin. I dare say the record is unprecedentedly good. It will be appreciated by all fans of absolute darkness and damnation. There is only death and nothingness. And music that will bury you alive.
