Morová rána se vrátila! Lidé opět umírají po tisících a ulice jsou plné mrtvol. Chaos, strach, temnota. Nic jiného neexistuje. Vzduchem se vznáší pach rozkládajícího se masa a Smrt se usmívá. Ne, to není historie, ale naše budoucnost. Příliš dlouho jsme věřili ve špatné bohy a budeme za to náležitě potrestáni. Také cítíte ve vzduchu krev? To norští IMPUGNER vydávají nové album.
"Advent of the Wretched" opravdu připomíná nějakou dávnou chorobu, která byla dlouhé roky uložena v Pandořině skříňce. Je opět mezi námi a vy si můžete užít starý, plesnivý a prašivý death metal. Pánové opravdu rozumí svému řemeslu. Není divu, jedná se o členy kapel Diskord, Deathhammer, Brainshock, Desolation Realm a Lobotomized. Masakr!
Márnice je opět plná a hrobů je málo. Hřbitovem zní nové album "Advent of the Wretched" a nikdo už dávno nevěří v boha. Jedná se o remasterované demo z roku 2021 a musím napsat, že pánové odvedli skvělou práci. Hniloba, špína, morbidní nálady ve stylu třeba takových AUTOPSY, DEATH, PUNGENT STENCH, NIHILIST, DARKTHRONE, nověji třeba MORBUS CHRON, se vznášejí kolem jako výpary ze sirnatého roztoku. Máte dvě možnosti, buď zemřít a nebo se znovu narodit v křečích a poslouchat IMPUGNER. Nic mezi tím není a nebude. Nahrávka je samozřejmě určena pro všechny fanoušky old schoolových postupů a pohřbů do země. Vše je smradlavé, shnilé, nechutné a zvrácené. Pánové s vámi nebudou mít nikdy slitování. Za moji osobu musím říci, že se vše povedlo - zvuk (Will Killingsworth - Mastering, BRC - Recording, Mixing), obal, produkce. všechno je v nejlepším pořádku. Poslech asi nejvíc připomíná návštěvu starých katakomb, ve kterých jsou pohřbeni dlouhé roky oběti moru. Nebo to je současnost? Nemrtví šeptají, bestie křičí a temnota má zase jednou nové jméno - IMPUGNER. Pokud se rádi a často pohybujete v undergroundu a milujete k smrti tmu, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. Už jste někdy cítili smrad z prasklého vředu? Pokud ne, tak máte možnost. Death metalová morová rána!

"Advent of the Wretched" really reminds of some ancient disease that has been stored in Pandora's box for years. It is among us again and you can enjoy the old, moldy and dusty death metal. The gentlemen really understand their craft. No wonder, they are members of Diskord, Deathhammer, Brainshock, Desolation Realm and Lobotomized. Massacre!
The morgue is full again and the graves are few. The new album "Advent of the Wretched" plays through the cemetery and no one believes in God anymore. This is a remastered demo from 2021 and I must write that the gentlemen have done a great job. Rottenness, filth, morbid moods in the style of such AUTOPSY, DEATH, PUNGENT STENCH, NIHILIST, DARKTHRONE, and more recently MORBUS CHRON, float around like fumes from a sulphuric solution. You have two choices, either die or be reborn in convulsions and listen to IMPUGNER. There is and will be nothing in between. The record is of course for all fans of old school procedures and burying themselves in the ground. Everything is stinky, rotten, disgusting and sick. The gentlemen will never have mercy on you. On my behalf, I have to say that everything has been done well - sound (Will Killingsworth - Mastering, BRC - Recording, Mixing), cover art, production. everything is in top form. Listening to it is probably the most like visiting the old catacombs where the victims of the plague are buried for many years. Or is it the present? The undead whisper, the beasts scream, and the darkness once again has a new name - IMPUGNER. If you like and frequent the underground and love the darkness to death, don't hesitate a moment. Have you ever smelled the stench of a burst ulcer? If not, you have the opportunity. Death metal plague!
