Nahrubo nasekaná tma, kterou musíte spolykat. Dusíte se, jste jako utopenec, lapající po posledních kouscích kyslíku. Smrt je velmi blízko, někde na pokraji šílenství a temnoty. Čekáme na ní celý život, na dámu s kosou. Naše cesta je dopředu daná, osud si s námi pohrává jako šelma se svojí obětí. Existuje jen jediná jistota. Hudba. Třeba ta, kterou nám předkládají COSMIC PUTREFACTION. Krvavou atmosférou nasáklý death metal, s příměsí chladného blacku.
Poslech mi nejvíc připomíná návštěvu močálů, o kterých se říká, že když je přejdete, naleznete vchod přímo do pekla. Zajímavě napsané skladby mi dávají jenom za pravdu. Nafouklá těla utopenců jejichž tváře žalují do tmy. Pochopili jste podstatu života a smrti?
COSMIC PUTREFACTION vám umožní nahlédnout za oponu, na druhou stranu, na onen svět. Záleží jen na vaší fantazii. Chladný a smradlavý zvuk, čitelný a ostrý jako skalpel. Zajímavé riffy, motivy, u kterých musel asistovat samotný ďábel. Tohle všechno dohromady vytváří celek, který vás odnese do děsivé říše snů. "Crepuscular Dirge for the Blessed Ones" je albem pro všechny hudební gurmány, kteří se rádi toulají v podzemí. Je pro mě vždy zásadní, jestli mě nahrávka dokáže chytit do svých drápů. Musí se mi dostat pod kůži, hlodat v mé hlavě. A musím se k ní rád a často vracet. COSMIC PUTREFACTION tohle všechno umí na výbornou a přidávají ještě něco navíc. Kus sebe samých, zběsilých myšlenek a nápadů, které na mě působí jako ozvěny z jiných, děsivých dimenzí. Album chce rozhodně čas a nejlépe temný a chladný pokoj. Potom vyniknou všechny stíny nejlépe. Zmínit musím i skvělý obal, který přesně vystihuje atmosféru skladeb. Jako bych se díval na své vlastní mrtvé tělo, jako bych se topil v močále. Šílená noční můra se stala realitou. Smrt číhá za každým rohem a vy chcete další song, je pro vás jako jed v žilách. Další slova jsou zbytečná, nechme raději mluvit hudbu. Myslím, že fanoušci třeba takových MINTHRAS, ULCERATE, DEMILICH, TIMEGHOUL, BLOOD INCANTATION, IMMOLATION, budou vědět, o čem píšu. Temný death metal, který vás udusí zkaženou krví!

Interesting riffs, themes that the devil himself must have assisted. It all comes together to create a whole that will take you to a terrifying dreamland. "Crepuscular Dirge for the Blessed Ones" is an album for all musical gourmets who like to wander in the underground. It's always crucial for me if a record can grab me in its claws. It has to get under my skin, gnaw at my head. And I have to come back to it often. COSMIC PUTREFACTION do all this perfectly and add something extra. A piece of themselves, frantic thoughts and ideas that affect me like echoes from other, scary dimensions. The album definitely takes time and preferably a dark and cold room. Then all the shadows stand out best. I must also mention the great cover art, which accurately captures the atmosphere of the songs. It's like looking at my own dead body, like drowning in a swamp. A crazy nightmare has become a reality. Death lurks around every corner and you want the next song, it's like poison in your veins. More words are useless, let the music do the talking. I think fans of such bands as MINTHRAS, ULCERATE, DEMILICH, TIMEGHOUL, BLOOD INCANTATION, IMMOLATION, will know what I'm writing about. Dark death metal that will choke you with corrupted blood!
