Zvrácená sestřička chodí temnými chodbami prokleté nemocnice. Drží v rukou skalpel a injekci. Usmívá se. Má důvod. Jednak má dnes na svědomí již několik obětí, ale hlavně poslouchala celý den nové album "Morbidity Triumphant". Injekce, kterou drží v rukou, je plná jedu a špíny. Namíchal jej samotný ďábel, spolu s legendárními AUTOPSY. Morbidní gentlemani jsou zpět, aby vás vzali na další ze svých šílených výletů do starých piteven.
Kapela má, jak je všeobecně známo, svůj jasný a zřetelný rukopis. Jsou otci zakladateli, ale zároveň stále působí jako smečka, která má co říct. Atmosféra, ano, je to právě atmosféra, která mě na jejich nahrávkách vždy fascinovala. Divoké pasáže, s morbidním účinkem, spolu s chladnými doomovými vyhrávkami, tvoří dohromady koktejl, kterému musí podlehnout každý, kdo to kdy myslel se stylem zvaným death metal vážně. AUTOPSY jsou zpět ve skvělé formě. Ostří a nekompromisní, nechutní a temní, jako mysl sériových vrahů.
Album "Morbidity Triumphant" má takový ten špinavý, hnisající zvuk, který máme všichni u kapely tolik rádi (Ken Lee - Mastering, Adam Munoz - Recording, Engineering). Připadá mi, že se kapela chtěla trošku vrátit v čase, což samozřejmě jenom oceňuji a dávám nahoru všechny uříznuté palce. Obal od Wese Benscotera bych zase měl hrozně rád jako plakát na zdi. Je totiž vynikající. Co se týká hudby samotné a jednotlivých nápadů, tak na nahrávce nalezneme esenci toho nejlepšího, co AUTOPSY umí. Album opravdu působí jako skalpel, kterým vám někdo pomalu a s velkou chutí vyřízne z hlavy obě oči. Originální rukopis, vokál jako z jiného světa, každý z muzikantů je velká osobnost a zároveň působí dohromady neskutečně kompaktně, pevně. Jako pečlivě svázaná oběť. Líbí se mi, že se kapela nijak ve své tvorbě nemění, je na ně spoleh. Svět se kolem možná točí už dávno jiným směrem, ale existují ještě záchytné body, kterých se můžeme chytit. Letos je mi v opuštěné nemocnici se všemi těmi zvrácenými sestřičkami, sadisty, sériovými vrahy, velmi dobře. Patřím ke staré gardě fanoušků, kteří sledují kapelu od jejich začátků a jako takový mohu novinku jenom doporučit. Budete sice mít ruce od krve a ucítíte pach rozkládajících se těl, ale věřte tomu, že zde naleznete vše potřebné pro skvělý hororový zážitek. Deska "Morbidity Triumphant" se do mě otiskla jako nějaká dávná choroba. A poslouchám ji hrozně rád. Morbidní, krvavý a shnilý death metal ze starých piteven!

The band, as is well known, has a clear and distinct signature. They are the founding fathers, but at the same time they still come across as a band with something to say. Atmosphere, yes, it's the atmosphere that has always fascinated me about their recordings. The wild passages, with morbid effect, along with the cool doom flourishes, make together a cocktail that anyone who has ever been serious about the style called death metal must succumb to. AUTOPSY are back in great form. Sharp and uncompromising, disgusting and dark, like the minds of serial killers.
The album "Morbidity Triumphant" has that dirty, festering sound that we all love so much about the band (Ken Lee - Mastering, Adam Munoz - Recording, Engineering). I feel like the band wanted to go back in time a bit, which of course I just appreciate and give all thumbs up. I would have loved the Wes Benscoter cover again as a wall poster. It is excellent. As for the music itself and the individual ideas, the recording contains the essence of the best that AUTOPSY can do. The album really feels like a scalpel that someone will slowly and with great gusto cut both eyes out of your head. Original handwriting, vocals like from another world, each of the musicians is a great personality and at the same time they act together incredibly compact, solid. Like a carefully bound victim. I like that the band doesn't change in any way in their work, they are reliable. The world may have been spinning around in a different direction for a long time, but there are still clues to grab onto. This year I'm very comfortable in an abandoned hospital with all the twisted nurses, sadists, serial killers. I'm one of the old guard of fans who have been following the band since their early days and as such can only recommend the news. You may get your hands covered in blood and smell the stench of decomposing bodies, but trust that you will find everything you need for a great horror experience. The album "Morbidity Triumphant" imprinted itself on me like some ancient disease. And I love listening to it. Morbid, bloody and rotten death metal from the old morgues!
