Možná byl ještě slyšet, možná se ještě trošku hýbal. Ale rakev jsme zatloukli rezavými hřeby. Obřad byl krátký, nežil příliš dobrý život. Na pohřeb přišli jenom démoni. Byl dávno prokletý. Probudil se a křičel. Škrábal do dřeva, až se mu spustila krev. Dusil se a naříkal. Pozdě. Kněz pronesl konečně amen a hrob se zaplnil. Nezoufejte, je to jen na pár dní, než se zase probudí a povstane. Pomstí se všem. Zlo nelze zničit. Ale bojovat musíme. Já kupříkladu všem prokletým pouštím pořádně nahlas novou desku dánských šílenců WAYARD DAWN.

Kapely, která uchopila death metal po svém. Dokáže být temná a zákeřná. Chladná a spalující. Jako čerstvě vykopaný hrob, jako márnice plná těl padlých kněží. Vítejte na starém pohřebišti, na kterém ožívají příběhy lidské nenávisti.

"All-Consuming Void" je deskou, která je plná spousty zajímavých momentů. Syrová a špinavá, jako mysl nějakého maniaka. Ve stylu CANNIBAL CORPSE, BENEDICTION, OBITUARY, MORGOTH, BOLT THROWER, MORBID ANGEL odsýpá velmi ostře a nekompromisně. Riffy se mi zadírají pod kůži, mozek je zakalen tmou, přidáno je i několik thrashových a grindových pasáží. Užívám si zvuk, obal, produkci. Jedná se o smrtící kov staré školy v tom nejlepším slova smyslu. Žádné zbytečnosti, ale rána přímo do srdce. Osobně nejvíc oceňuji, že jsou songy velmi uvěřitelné a mají takový ten masakrující efekt, který mám u tohoto stylu tolik rád. Navíc se deska opravdu velmi dobře poslouchá. Procházím se hřbitovem a čtu si jména na náhrobcích. Představuji si osudy lidí, kteří zde hnijí v zemi. Mraky jsou nízko a vítr si hraje s větvemi stromů. Naslouchám pečlivě, našlapuji do rytmu. Dojdu až k hrobce s nápisem WAYARD DAWN. Otevřu těžké rezavé dveře. Už na mě čekají. Všichni zlí démoni. Je načase zapnout play, aby shořeli na popel. Zůstane po nich jenom otisk na zdech, stejně jako po téhle nahrávce v mé hlavě. Mám rád podobná alba, protože mám pocit, že jsem přímo jejich součástí. Pokud na tom jste stejně jako já, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. Prokletí čekají! Surový, temný a prokletý death metal, který vás pohřbí zaživa!

"All-Consuming Void" is a record that is full of many interesting moments. Raw and dirty, like the mind of a maniac. In the style of CANNIBAL CORPSE, BENEDICTION, OBITUARY, MORGOTH, BOLT THROWER, MORBID ANGEL, it is very sharp and uncompromising. Riffs get under my skin, my brain is clouded with darkness, some thrash and grind passages are added. I enjoy the sound, the cover, the production. This is old school death metal at its best. No uselessness, but a punch straight to the heart. Personally, what I appreciate most is that the songs are very believable and have that butchering effect that I love so much about this style. Plus the album is really very easy to listen to. I walk through the cemetery and read the names on the tombstones. I imagine the fates of the people rotting in the ground here. The clouds are low and the wind plays with the branches of the trees. I listen intently, stepping to the rhythm. I reach a tomb with the inscription WAYARD DAWN. I open the heavy rusty door. They're waiting for me. All the evil demons. It's time to turn on the play so they burn to ashes. All they'll leave is an imprint on the walls, just like this recording in my head. I like albums like this because I feel like I'm a part of it. If you're like me, don't hesitate a moment. The curses are waiting! Raw, dark and cursed death metal that will bury you alive!
