Na počátku byl chaos. Alespoň se o tom píše v chytrých knihách. Z něj vyšly kapely jako BLOOD CHALICE. Démonický, šílený, devastující black death metal plný rouhání, obrácených křížů, satanismu. Jedná se přesně o ten druh obřadu, který buď milujete nebo nenávidíte. Skřehot a vřískot ze samotného pekla. Touha ničit hudbou. Tohle všechno pánové umí na výbornou.
Není to ale jenom masakr, který zní z reproduktorů. Je to i spousta mrazivých melodií, které vás navěky proklejí. Na primitivních, surových základech jsou vystavěny šílené kompozice. Nic pro slabé povahy. Existuje jenom temnota, nenávist a smrt. Svět se zase jednou ztrácí v plamenech.
Tvář od krve, hnisu a špíny. Čerstvě vykopané hroby. Kosti, vykládané do pentagramu. Na albu nalezneme všechny potřebné atributy pro poctivý pohřeb. Skladby jsou ostré jako skalpel, drásají a pálí. Poslech je spíše rituálem, nechutným obřadem, než jen obyčejnou hudbou. BLOOD CHALICE se pohybují v hlubokém podzemí. Mají skvělý zvuk, obal. Po řemeslné stránce je nahrávka skvělá. Má v sobě ale také spoustu zajímavých nápadů. Toulám se hřbitovem a přidávám neustále hlasitost. Potkávám se s nemrtvými a všichni čekáme na tmu. Dnes by měl přijít i samotný Satan. Usedne na svůj trůn a spokojeně se usmívá. Hraje se tu hlavně pro něj i pro všechny démony. "The Blasphemous Psalms of Cannibalism" patří do starých hrobek. Mezi nemrtvé a prokleté. Svět je zahalen do krvavé mlhy. Tmu prořízne první riff. Vím, že jsem zde správně. Na pradávném obřadu, po kterém zůstane na oltáři spousta krve. Beru do rukou nůž a obracím jej proti sobě. Chci přejít přes řeku Styx, už mám dost světla. Ocitám se v království nihilismu, v oblasti, kde kralují BLOOD CHALICE. Je jen na vás, zda přijmete pozvání. Já už jsem na druhé straně a jsem velmi spokojen. S atmosférou, s hudbou. Vítejte v krvavé temnotě! Black death metalový rituál smrti!

In the beginning there was chaos. At least that's what the smart books say. Out of it came bands like BLOOD CHALICE. Demonic, insane, devastating black death metal full of blasphemy, inverted crosses, satanism. It's exactly the kind of ritual you either love or hate. Screams and shrieks from hell itself. The desire to destroy with music. The gentlemen are good at all this.
But it's not just the carnage that comes out of the speakers. It's also a lot of chilling melodies that will curse you forever. On primitive, raw foundations are built insane compositions. Nothing for the weak of character. There is only darkness, hatred and death. The world is once again going down in flames.
A face covered in blood, pus and dirt. Freshly dug graves. Bones inlaid in a pentagram. The album contains all the necessary attributes for an honest burial. The songs are scalpel-sharp, scratching and burning. Listening to them is more of a ritual, a disgusting ceremony, than just plain music. BLOOD CHALICE are deep underground. They have a great sound, a great cover. Craft-wise, the record is great. But it also has a lot of interesting ideas. I'm wandering through the cemetery, turning up the volume all the time. I meet the undead and we're all waiting for darkness. Satan himself should come tonight. He sits on his throne and smiles with satisfaction. It's mostly for him and all the demons. "The Blasphemous Psalms of Cannibalism" belongs in the old tombs. Among the undead and the damned. The world is shrouded in a bloody mist. The first riff cuts through the darkness. I know I'm right here. At an ancient ceremony that leaves a lot of blood on the altar. I pick up the knife and turn it on myself. I want to cross the River Styx, I've had enough light. I find myself in the realm of nihilism, the realm where BLOOD CHALICE reigns supreme. It is up to you to accept the invitation. I'm already on the other side and I'm very happy.
