Vybělené kosti a spalující slunce. Někde hluboko v lesích, daleko od lidí, uprostřed brazilských pralesů opět ožívají pradávné rituály smrti. Hadi se plazí ve žhavém písku, oltář je připraven. Obětí budeš opět ty, věrný fanoušek ryzího death metalu. Čekali jsme dlouhé čtyři roky, připraveni a zoceleni dlouhými roky poslechu této legendy. Hlavní kněz řádu nekonečné temnoty pozvedá svůj ostrý nůž. Z nedaleké jeskyně se ozve nadšený řev. Bestie je připravena, stačí ji jenom pustit ze řetězu. Prokousnuté hrdlo, černá energie načerpaná v podsvětí, KRISIUN jsou zpět.

Silnější než kdy dřív. Novinka "Mortem Solis" mě ihned přikovala ke zdi, pohřbila zaživa. Dostal jsem přesně to, co od této brazilské legendy očekávám. Pravý, nefalšovaný, živočišný, drtivý smrtící kov zahraný s nadšením. Surovost, uvěřitelnost, typické a stále originální postupy, o to tu jde především. V rozhovoru mi před lety kapela prozradila (odkaz dole pod článkem): "Hrajeme srdcem a oddaně pro ty, co nás podporují". Myslím si, že nové album tento citát přesně vystihuje.

Jako bych byl při poslechu opravdu účastníkem nějakého starého rituálu, který je stále hodně krvavý, temný a záhadný. Přesně jako muzika KRISIUN. Kapela má velký dar mě zaujmout, novinku rád a s chutí poslouchám. Zrovna je kolem spalující slunce a lidé se plouží ulicemi jako stíny. Jako zombie, které k nám přišly z onoho světa - muzika je tak nejen kulisou, ale doslova pohlcujícím zážitkem. Skvělý zvuk, typický pro tuhle smečku (Mark Lewis), obal plný symbolů, tentokrát laděný do hnědé barvy (Mantus), ale hlavně typický jihoamerický rukopis, který kapela kdysi sama vytvořila, tohle všechno dohromady tvoří celek, který je doslova zabijácký. Mám pocit, že někdo otevřel rezavé dveře do záhrobí a pustil ven všechno zlo světa. Navíc morbidní vokál, spousta zajímavých melodií. Nekonečně černá atmosféra. Had je naším symbolem, zkázou i zrozením. KRISIUN se vyvíjejí postupně, pomalu, přesto si zachovávají svůj jasný a zřetelný obličej i výraz. Nestojí ale na místě, nejsou jen retrem sebe sama. Dívají se dopředu, rozkročeni na pevných základech. Troufám si tvrdit, že se "Mortem Solis" povedlo po všech stránkách. Pokud si totiž odečteme skvělé řemeslo, tak zůstanou na kost ohlodané motivy, které mě baví stále dokola poslouchat. Jsem uprostřed starého rituálu, jsem obětí i vykonavatelem, jsem knězem i prokletým. Ale hlavně si desku neskutečně užívám. Šamani i fanoušci vědí své. Temný brazilský death metalový rituál smrti ze starých pohřebišť!

Stronger than ever. The new release "Mortem Solis" immediately pinned me to the wall, buried me alive. I got exactly what I expect from this Brazilian legend. Genuine, unadulterated, animalistic, crushing death metal played with passion. The rawness, the believability, the typical and still original techniques, that's what it's all about. In an interview years ago the band revealed to me (link below the article), "We play with heart and devotion for those who support us". I think the new album accurately describes this quote.

It's like I'm really listening to an old ritual that is still very bloody, dark and mysterious. Just like the music of KRISIUN. The band has a great gift to captivate me, I like the new songs and listen to them with pleasure. The scorching sun is just around and people are creeping through the streets like shadows. Like zombies that have come to us from the other world - the music is thus not only a backdrop, but literally an immersive experience. A great sound, typical of this band (Mark Lewis), a cover full of symbols, this time in brown (Mantus), but most of all the typical South American signature that the band once created themselves, all this together makes a whole that is literally killer. I feel like someone opened the rusty door to the beyond and let out all the evil in the world. Plus morbid vocals, lots of interesting melodies. Endlessly black atmosphere. The snake is our symbol, our destruction and our birth. KRISIUN evolve gradually, slowly, yet retain their clear and distinct face and expression. But they do not stand still, they are not just a retread of themselves. They look forward, straddling a solid foundation. I dare say that "Mortem Solis" has succeeded on all counts. If you subtract the great craft, you are left with the bone-biting themes that I enjoy listening to over and over again. I am in the middle of an old ritual, I am both victim and performer, I am both priest and damned. But most of all, I enjoy the record immensely. The shamans and the fans know their stuff.
