Je to vlastně fascinující pohled. Krev, pomalu unikající z žíly. Žádná tepna, která by tady udělala nepořádek, ale spíše pomalé, tiché umírání. Občas se ozve šepot, ale mohla by to být klidně včerejší ozvěna. Na ten pohled nezapomenu nikdy. Netuším sice, kde se v lidech bere tolik zla, ale já nejsem vykonavatelem, jen pozoruji a nasávám atmosféru. Shnilé a morbidní nálady.
O existenci EGREGORE jsem vůbec netušil, album se ke mě dostalo víceméně náhodou. Venku bylo mlhavo a kousek za městem se v opuštěném kostele klidně mohla odehrávat pradávná black death metalová seance. Je lehké na tuhle hru přistoupit a nechat fantazii pracovat. "The Word Of His Law" je takovým otiskem, krvavou stopou, která by neměla uniknout nikomu prokletému.
Vše se odehrává spíše v pomalejších tempech. Riffy jsou zasněné, nasáklé nočními můrami. Rád poslouchám desky v celku a zde bych to doporučoval i vám. Vše totiž krásně graduje, celé album je napsáno jako takový zlý a ošklivý příběh. Zaznamenal jsem sice i spoustu negativních názorů, ale těch jsem zcela prost. Rozhodně to není záležitost na jeden poslech. Je nutné na sebe nechat vše působit. Uspořádat setkání v různých denních i nočních hodinách. Ve stavech mysli, blízkých samotné Smrti. Pak možná pochopíte. Představte si starý chrám, o kterém se říká, že v něm přebývají už jen stíny. Také slyšíte chorály smrti? Také vás mrazí v zádech? Kapela se velmi vzdáleně inspiruje smečkami jako jsou ABSU, NOCTURNUS, ale i třeba takovými AGATUS, ZEMIAL. Je velmi těžké k někomu album přirovnat, EGREGORE jsou nezařaditelní, jiní, odlišní. Zpočátku nepřístupní, ale když jim dáte čas, tak vás rozloží na prvočástice. Na počátku byl chaos a pak hned hudba. Teď už to vím. Black metal, death metal a také spousta zhmotněných přízraků. Krve by se ve mě nedořezal. Myslím, že se vyplatí vydržet počáteční nechuť. Je to vlastně fascinující pohled. Krev, pomalu unikající z žíly. Na oltáři leží mé tělo. Nasáklé špínou a prokleté deskou "The Word Of His Law". Mystický zážitek z onoho světa!

I didn't even know about the existence of EGREGORE, the album came to me more or less by accident. Everything happens at a rather slower pace. The riffs are dreamy, soaked in nightmares. I like to listen to records in their entirety, and I would recommend it to you here. Because everything builds up beautifully, the whole album is written as such a bad and ugly story. I have noticed a lot of negative opinions, but I am completely free of them. It's definitely not a one-listen affair. You have to let it all work on you. Arrange meetings at different times of the day and night. In states of mind close to Death itself. Then perhaps you will understand. Imagine an old temple where it is said that only shadows dwell. Do you also hear the chants of death? Do you also get chills? The band is very distantly inspired by packs like ABSU, NOCTURNUS, but also by AGATUS, ZEMIAL. It's very hard to compare the album to someone, EGREGORE is unclassifiable, different and different. At first unapproachable, but if you give them time, they break you down into elemental pieces. In the beginning, there was chaos and then there was music. Now I know. Black metal, death metal, and also a lot of materialized phantoms. He wouldn't have cut the blood in me. I think it's worth it to endure the initial reluctance. It's actually a fascinating sight.
