Jako každý den jsem obcházel celý hřbitov. Užíval si klid a ticho. Jedovatý šepot nemrtvých. Vítr v korunách stromů, na kterých seděli krkavci. Někdo nebo něco mě chytlo za nohu. Z jednoho starého, dávno opuštěného hrobu, vylezlo další monstrum. Již to začalo, svět bude už navždy naruby. Dobro neexistuje, jenom černé, prokleté duše. Zlo a špína. Mokvající tváře, lačnící po krvi. Každý si představujeme peklo a apokalypsu jinak. Všichni se ale shodneme, že nám do uší bude hrát nová deska od HUMAN HARVEST.
Dvojice death metalových veteránů Jonny Pettersson (Wombbath, Heads for the Dead) - basa, zpěv, kytara a Jon Rudin (Wombbath, Just Before Dawn) - bicí, se vydala na onen svět, aby našla svědectví o zlu, temnotě a šílenství. Slyším děsivé ozvěny ze záhrobí!
"Flesh Sermons" by si mohli oblíbit všichni fanoušci dlouhých stínů, pohřbů do země i mrazivých nocí na hřbitově. Základem je starý death metal (s prvky grindu i blacku), ale rozhodně se nejedná jen o vzpomínkové album na "staré dobré časy". Naopak, deska je nebývale svěží, krvácející, hnilobná a studená zároveň. Objevil jsem si pro sebe spoustu zajímavých momentů. Hlavní je pro mě pak vše objímající démonická atmosféra. Prosévám mezi prsty prach předků, přemýšlím o tom, co bude, až nastane konec. Temnota? Stanu se také prokletou zombie? Nemrtvým, navěky uvězněným v meziprostoru? Nevím, jistý jsem si akorát s tím, že ať se stane cokoliv, budu u toho poslouchat první dlouhohrající nahrávku HUMAN HARVEST. Obsahuje v sobě totiž vše, co mám na tomto stylu tolik rád. Ostré riffy, devastující bicí, mocný vokál. Vše je pak zabaleno v pevných pavučinách. Skladby se pro mě staly pravidelnou denní dávkou černých a nihilistických emocí. Nahrubo nakrájená tma. Nedávno otevřená rakev, ze které uteklo tělo. Hromadný hrob hrdinů i vrahů. Válka s peklem. Hádejte, kdo vyhraje? Surovost, masakr v márnici. Polámané kosti, vyhřezlá střeva. Způsob smrti si můžete vybrat sami. Jen nezapomeňte přidat volume. Death metalová morová rána!

Like every day, I walked all around the cemetery. Enjoying the peace and quiet. The poisonous whispers of the undead. The wind in the treetops where the ravens sat. Someone or something grabbed my leg. Another monster crawled out of an old, long-abandoned grave. It's already begun, the world will be turned upside down forever. There is no good, only black, cursed souls. Evil and filth. Wet faces, hungry for blood. We all imagine hell and the apocalypse differently. But we can all agree that the new album from HUMAN HARVEST will play in our ears.
The pair of death metal veterans Jonny Pettersson (Wombbath, Heads for the Dead) - bass, vocals, guitar and Jon Rudin (Wombbath, Just Before Dawn) - drums, traveled to the otherworld to find testimony of evil, darkness and madness. I hear eerie echoes from beyond the grave!
"Flesh Sermons" could be a favourite for all fans of long shadows, burials in the ground and frosty nights in the cemetery. The basis is old death metal (with elements of grind and black metal), but it is definitely not just a reminiscence album of the "good old days". On the contrary, the record is unprecedentedly fresh, bleeding, rotten and cold at the same time. I discovered a lot of interesting moments for myself. The main one for me is the all embracing demonic atmosphere. I sift through the dust of ancestors between my fingers, wondering what will happen when the end comes. The darkness? Will I become a cursed zombie too? Undead, trapped forever in the space between? I don't know, all I'm sure of is that whatever happens, I'll be there listening to the first long-playing HUMAN HARVEST record. It contains everything I like so much about this style. Sharp riffs, devastating drums, powerful vocals. All wrapped up in a tight web. The tracks have become a regular daily dose of black and nihilistic emotions for me. Coarsely chopped darkness. A recently opened coffin from which a body has escaped. A mass grave of heroes and murderers. A war with hell. Guess who wins? The brutality, the massacre in the morgue. Broken bones, dislocated intestines. You can choose your own method of death. Just don't forget to turn up the volume. Death metal plague!
