Nikdo kolem mě nechápe krásu ranní mlhy nad hřbitovem. Ten zdánlivý klid, vítr v korunách stromů. Dlouhé stíny náhrobků, na kterých jsou napsána jména našich předků. Všude kolem se vznáší smrt, ale také odpočinek, nekonečný spánek. Jenže my jsme posluchači pravého death metalu, my moc dobře víme, že klid je jen předstíraný. Zkuste si přijít na hřbitov o půlnoci a uvidíte sami. Přízraky vylezou z děr, v márnici budou opět lámány staré kosti. Prašivina, popraskané rakve, temnota.
Najdeme zde vše, po čem naše srdce touží. Stejně jako na nové desce HELLFROST AND FIRE v jejímž středu nestojí nikdo jiný, než legendární zpěvák Dave Ingram. Ten se dal tentokrát dohromady s Rickem “Dennisem” DeMusisem (Guitar/Bass) a Travisem Ruvoem (Echelon, Cropsy Maniac - Drums), aby nám přednesli několik dalších kapitol z knihy mrtvých.
Deska je primárně určena pro všechny opravdové věřící, kteří propadli death metalu v devadesátých letech minulého století. Album se valí kupředu jako lavina z kostí, špíny a hniloby. Je jako buldozer, pod jehož pásy zahynete v šílených křečích. Užívám si nejen zvuk, ale i sóla od mistra kytary Scotta Fairfaxe (Memoriam UK, As The World Dies). Klasické postupy, tradičních zápach čerstvě exhumovaných hrobů. Já vím, kapela rozhodně nepřináší nic nového, ani převratného, ale o to tady vůbec nejde. Pokud chcete přesně pochopit atmosféru a náladu "Fire, Frost And Hell", doporučuji nejdříve strávit několik nocí v márnici s čerstvými nebožtíky. Pokud uslyšíte jejich šepot, nářek a v některých případech i transformaci do pekla, pak se vám budou líbit i HELLFROST AND FIRE. Mám zkrátka pocit, že jsme stejné krve. Došlo k vzájemnému přenosu nákazy mezi mnou a kapelou, což jsou věci, které nejdou sice dost dobře vysvětlit slovy, ale prokletí mi dají jistě za pravdu. Pánové složili poctivou, syrovou desku, která se mezi ostatními rozhodně neztratí. Řeže tou správnou stranou nože a nedá vám nic zadarmo. Nikdo kolem mě nechápe krásu ranní mlhy nad hřbitovem. Ten zdánlivý klid, vítr v korunách stromů. Dlouhé stíny náhrobků, na kterých jsou napsána jména našich předků. Na jednom je vytesáno i jméno této smečky (hned vedle Celtic Frost, Benediction, Warlord UK, Bolt Thrower, Cancer, Necrosanct, Memoriam). Zaslouží si to. Hraje se tady totiž poctivě, od srdce. Surový death metal, který vás roztrhá na kusy!

No one around me understands the beauty of the morning mist over the cemetery. The apparent calm, the wind in the treetops. The long shadows of the tombstones with our ancestors' names written on them. Death hovers all around, but also rest endless sleep. But we are the listeners of true death metal, we know very well that the peace is only fake. Try going to the cemetery at midnight and see for yourself. Ghosts will come out of the holes, old bones will be broken again in the morgue. Dust, cracked coffins, darkness.
Here we will find everything our hearts desire. Just like on the new album HELLFROST AND FIRE, with none other than legendary singer Dave Ingram at its centre. This time he has teamed up with Rick "Dennis" DeMusis (Guitar/Bass) and Travis Ruvoe (Echelon, Cropsy Maniac - Drums) to bring us a few more chapters from the book of the dead.
The album is primarily intended for all true believers who fell in love with death metal in the 1990s. The album rolls forward like an avalanche of bones, filth and rot. It's like a bulldozer under whose belts you will die in insane convulsions. I enjoy not only the sound, but the solos from guitar master Scott Fairfax (Memoriam UK, As The World Dies). Classical procedures, the traditional smell of freshly exhumed graves. I know, the band certainly doesn't bring anything new or groundbreaking, but that's not the point. If you want to understand exactly the atmosphere and mood of "Fire, Frost And Hell", I recommend spending a few nights in a morgue with fresh dead people first. If you can hear them whispering, wailing, and in some cases transforming into hell, then you'll like HELLFROST AND FIRE. I simply feel we are of the same blood. There has been a mutual transmission of contagion between myself and the band, things that can't be explained well enough with words, but the damned will surely give me credit. The gentlemen have composed an honest, raw record that will definitely not get lost amongst the rest. It cuts with the right side of the knife and doesn't give you anything for free. No one around me understands the beauty of the morning mist over the cemetery. The apparent calm, the wind in the treetops. The long shadows of the tombstones with the names of our ancestors written on them. On one of them is carved the name of this pack (next to Celtic Frost, Benediction, Warlord UK, Bolt Thrower, Cancer, Necrosanct, Memoriam). They deserve it. It is played here with honesty, from the heart. Raw death metal that will tear you apart!
