Chodím rád temným tichým městem. Všichni ještě spí, jen pár stínů čeká ve špinavých uličkách. Vytáhly je ven nutkavé fantazie. O krvi, nenávisti, o vnitřních hlasech, které jako zlí démoni našeptávají. Jdi a zabij. Mám poslední roky pocit, že je mezi lidmi čím dál tím víc zla. Nebo jsme jej měli v sobě vždycky a teď je jen víc vidět? Už dávno vím, že noční klid v ulicích je jen zdánlivý.
Občas se někdo odlepí od stěny a já se leknu. Poslouchám nové EP mých oblíbených VOORHEES. Death metalové kapely z Francie, která ctí staré dobré pořádky. I letos dostaneme tři nové skladby zahrané s elegancí starých hrobníků.
Poslech "Chapter Two & a Half" mi nejvíc připomíná pouliční rvačku, ve které najednou někdo vytáhne nůž. Hudba je to opět velmi uvěřitelná, divoká, neučesaná. Přesně takhle to mám rád. Kapela si na nic nehraje, ze skladeb je cítit, že věří tomu, co hraje. Jsou to přesně tyhle momenty, které dělají z VOORHEES smečku, ke které se tolik rád a často vracím. Pokud se vám líbí třeba takoví JUNGLE ROT, OBITUARY, BOLT THROWER, budete určitě spokojeni. Kolem celé nahrávky se vznáší zvláštní krvavá mlha. Smrti a nenávisti je kolem možná už příliš, lidé dávno nepoužívají mozek, stali se jen ovcemi jdoucími na porážku. Přidávám hlasitost a mám neodbytný pocit, že se v okolí začaly ztrácet mladé dívky. Ulicemi se už dávno vznáší podivný strach. Temné fantazie zvrácených jedinců všechny kolem šokují. Některé pomatené dámy se s nimi chtějí dokonce seznámit. Někdy se mi chce z lidí zvracet. Raději se zavřu do pokoje a poslouchám alba jako je "Chapter Two & a Half". Prašivý zvuk, zajímavý obal, myslím, že fanoušci starého plesnivého smrtícího kovu si nemůžou na nic stěžovat. Old school death metal ostrý jako břitva!

Listening to "Chapter Two & a Half" reminds me most of a street fight in which someone suddenly pulls out a knife. The music is again very believable, wild, uncombed. That's exactly how I like it. The band doesn't play anything, you can feel the songs believing what they're playing. It is precisely these moments that make VOORHEES a pack to which I return so often and often. If you like such JUNGLE ROT, OBITUARY, BOLT THROWER, you will definitely be satisfied. A strange bloody mist hovers around the entire recording. Death and hatred may be too much around, people haven't used their brains in a long time, they've just become sheep going to slaughter. I turn up the volume and I have an unquenchable feeling that young girls have started to get lost in the area. Strange fear has been floating in the streets for a long time. The dark fantasies of perverted individuals shock everyone around. Some crazy ladies even want to meet them. Sometimes he wants to throw up on people. I prefer to close in the room and listen to albums like "Chapter Two & a Half". Dusty sound, interesting cover, I don't think fans of old moldy deadly metal can complain about anything. Old school death metal razor sharp!
