Existuje nepřeberné množství způsobů, jak mučit lidské tělo. Když poslouchám nové album českých brutálních death metalistů CUTTERRED FLESH, tak mám neodbytný pocit, že mi někdo trhá rozžhavenými kleštěmi maso od kostí. Mozek se vaří ve vlastní šťávě, z reproduktorů vytéká adrenalin. Kapela je zpět a je ve skvělé formě, jako starý kat, který už nemusí nikomu nic dokazovat.
Již během několika prvních poslechů jsem si říkal, že na mě deska působí velmi lehkým, svěžím dojmem. Myšlena teď určitá samozřejmost, s jakou se do mého těla zařezávají jednotlivé riffy. Kolem pobublává jako vroucí krev basa a podupávám si do rytmu. Ano, zvuk je skvělý! Čitelný, temný, chladný a masivní. Základem je tradiční brutální death metal ve stylu SUFFOCATION, DEPRAVITY, GODLESS THRUTH, ABORTED, BENIGHTED. Když ale budete poslouchat pečlivěji, zjistíte, že máte tu čest s přesně dávkovanými progresivními pasážemi. Pánové tak působí velmi originálně a zapamatovatelně.
Jsem neklidný, jsem donucen přemýšlet. Tohle zase tolik moc kapel neumí. Skloubit dohromady talent, schopnost složit dobrou skladbu a ještě navíc přidat kus něčeho neotřelého, zajímavého, propracovaného. Jako bych seděl ve starém sklepě a přemýšlel o tom, co si pro mě připraví příště? Bude to oheň? Ostré nože? Hřeby do uší? Nechám se překvapit, zatím si budu "Sharing is Caring" rvát pod tlakem do hlavy. Přiznám se bez mučení, že jsem už dlouho neslyšel album, které by mě takhle smetlo. Je vynikající po všech stránkách. Zmínit musím i parádní stylový obal od Pära Olofssona. Určitě znáte ten pocit, když jdete prázdnou ulicí za tmy. Nepozoruje mě někdo? Chlad hluboko uvnitř žaludku, odlesk nože ve stínu. Přesně podobné zážitky mám i s tímto albem. Možná bych chtěl najít i nějaké chyby, ale dle mého nejsou a hlavně není čas nad něčím tak obyčejným přemýšlet. CUTTERRED FLESH vás totiž nenechají ani na chvilku vydechnout. Udržují neustále moji pozornost, nahrávka má skvělou dramaturgii, jestli mi rozumíte. Songy postupně gradují, pálí a bolí, i po dlouhé době se k desce hrozně rád vracím a užívám si ji. Stále objevuji nové a nové momenty. S lokty ponořenými do dutiny břišní se usmívám. Ano, přesně takhle to mám rád! Velmi přemýšlivé, masivní, těžké, inteligentní, temné, surové album. Morbidní brutální death metalová symfonie s temně krvavým otiskem!

When I listen to the new album of Czech brutal death metalists CUTTERRED FLESH, I have an unquenchable feeling that someone is tearing meat from my bones with hot tongs. The brain boils in its own juice, it draws adrenaline from the speakers. The band is back, and is in great shape, like an old executioner who can't prove anything to anyone anymore.
Already during the first few listens, I thought that the record made a very light, fresh impression on me. Now a certain idea is taken, with which the individual riffs are cut into my body. The bass is bubbling around like boiling blood and I stammer to the beat. Yes, the sound is great! Legible, dark, cool and massive. The basis is traditional brutal death metal in the style of SUFFOCATION, DEPRAVITY, GODLESS THRUTH, ABORTED, BENIGHTED. But if you listen more carefully, you will find that you have the honor of precisely dosed progressive passages. Gentlemen thus look very original and memorable.
I'm restless, I'm forced to think. Again, not many bands can do that. Combine talent, the ability to compose a good song and even add a piece of something new, interesting, sophisticated. Like I was sitting in an old basement thinking about what he would prepare for me next? Will it be a fire? Sharp knives? Ear studs? I will be surprised, in the meantime I will fight "Sharing is Caring" under pressure in my head. I confess without torture that I haven't heard an album in a long time that would sweep me like this. It is excellent in all respects. I must also mention the great stylish cover by Pär Olofsson. Surely you know the feeling when you walk an empty street in the dark. Is anyone watching me? The cold deep inside the stomach, the reflection of the knife in the shade. I have exactly similar experiences with this album. Maybe I would like to find some mistakes, but in my opinion, they are not and mainly there is no time to think about something so ordinary. CUTTERRED FLESH will not let you breathe for a moment. They keep my attention all the time, the recording has great dramaturgy, if you understand me. The songs gradually graduate, burn and hurt, even after a long time I really like to return to the record and enjoy it. I am constantly discovering new and new moments. I smile with my elbows immersed in my abdomen. Yes, that's exactly how I like it! Very thoughtful, massive, difficult, intelligent, dark, raw album. Morbid brutal death metal symphony with a darkly bloody imprint!
