Dostal jsem jednoduchý příkaz. Zničit jednu starou hrobku, která stojí již dlouhá léta v rohu hřbitova. Vzal jsem do ruky velké kladivo a urazil rezavý zámek. Šílený zápach rozkládajícího se masa, strach a beznaděj. Takto nějak smrdí opravdová smrt, napadlo mě ihned. Zpuchřelá těla, shnilé maso. Kosti zamotané do pavučin. Ano, pravý, ryzí a nefalšovaný death metal. Devastující grindcore. Otevřu první rakev, měl by v ní ležet prokletý mnich. Je tomu tak. Drží v rukou novou desku finských GALVANIZER. Smrt je zase jednou hodně blízko.
O téhle finské smečce jsem již psal. V roce 2018 mě zaujala svoji prvotinou. Recenze i krátký rozhovor lze dohledat dole pod článkem. GALVANIZER se vydali temnou a šílenou cestou. Je lemována lebkami, močály a bílými kostmi. Death metal a grindcore ve staré podobě. Masakr!
Při poslechu "Prying Sight of Imperception" si spolu s kapelou zavzpomínáme nejen na staré opuštěné kobky, ale i na kapely jako CARCASS, ENTOMBED, NIHILIST, GENERAL SURGERY, PUNGENT STENCH případně na jejich kolegy CADAVERIC INCUBATOR. Tlak, temnota, praskající kosti. Tohle všechno na albu naleznete. Zajímavé, propracované a zároveň neurvalé motivy. Smrt v očích, několik kilo shnilého masa. Nic pro zhýčkané fanoušky metalu z lesklých časopisů, ale spíše záležitost pro totální hluboký underground. Užívám si i zvuk, obal, celkové provedení. Vše je v pořádku i po formální stránce. GALVANIZER vás pohřbí zaživa, exhumují a nakonec spálí na popel. Přemýšleli jste někdy, co po nás nakonec zbyde? Jsme opravdu jen kus zbytečného těla, které se pomalu rozloží v zemi? "Prying Sight of Imperception" je albem, které vám rozdrtí všechny kosti v těle. Jedná se o hudbu ze starých katakomb, ze hřbitovů, kam už chodí jen staří fanoušci death metalu a grind core. Troufám si tvrdit, že se Finům nová deska opravdu povedla. Má v sobě pradávnou sílu, černou energii. Zombie zběsile tančí na našich hrobech. Devastující album, u kterého vám vyskočí mozek z hlavy! Pressure, darkness, cracking bones. You can find all this on the album. Interesting, elaborate and at the same time erratic motives. Death in the eyes, several kilos of rotten meat. Nothing for spoiled fans of metal from glossy magazines, but rather a matter for the total deep underground. I also enjoy the sound, the cover, the overall design. Everything is fine even in terms of form. GALVANIZER will bury you alive, exhume and eventually burn you to ashes. Have you ever wondered what will be left of us in the end? Are we really just a piece of useless body that is slowly decomposing in the earth? "Prying Sight of Imperception" is an album that will crush all the bones in your body. This is music from old catacombs, from cemeteries, where only old fans of death metal and grind core go. I dare say that the Finns really did the new record. It has an ancient power, black energy.
