Francouzští death metalisté NEPHREN-KA pokračují ve své brutální jízdě i letos. Mám tuhle smečku moc rád. Sleduji ji sice teprve od minulé desky "La grande guerre de l'épice" (2017), ale neskutečně si jejich tvorbu užívám. Navíc, Frank Herbert a jeho dílo Duna patří k mým oblíbeným. Boj o vodu dávno začal, jen si to někteří z nás ještě neuvědomují.
NEPHREN-KA hrají i letos velmi brutálně, surově. Mají dobrý zvuk, zajímavý obal a stylově lze novinku opět přirovnat k nejlepším deskám od kapel jako SUFFOCATION, ORIGIN, NILE, HATE ETERNAL. Songy jsou opravdu velmi dobře napsány, obsahují velkou sílu, drive, takovou tu pradávnou temnou energii, kterou v sobě měly staré smečky. Když se podívám večer na zprávy, tak si říkám, že naše planeta poslední dobou trpí hlavně naší hloupostí a neznalostí. Jakoby se předpovědi klasických sci-fi autorů odehrávaly právě teď a tady. Možná už je apokalypsa za dveřmi. Stačí málo a budou otevřeny. Až se tak stane, tak nám k tomu bude hrát v rozhlase "From Agony to Transcendence". Celé album, jako nějaký zabijácký jed, prostupují černé, chladné vibrace. Nahrávka není rozhodně záležitostí na jeden poslech. Vyplatí se vydržet, několikrát se vrátit a budete odměněni skvělým zážitkem. Alespoň já jsem to tak praktikoval a stále odkrývám další a další vrstvy a zajímavé momenty. Skladby jsou možná někdy trošku komplikovanější, ale nebojte se, stále si zachovávají démonický výraz. Strach zabíjí myšlení. Strach je malá smrt přinášející naprosté vyhlazení. Budu svému strachu čelit. Dovolím mu, aby prošel kolem mne a skrze mne. NEPHREN-KA budu poslouchat stále dál, stále znovu. Jedná se totiž o brutální death metal té nejvyšší kvality! Masakr!

French death metallers NEPHREN-KA continue their brutal ride this year as well. I really like this band. Although I have been following them since the last album "La grande guerre de l'épice" (2017), I really enjoy their work. In addition, Frank Herbert and his work “Dune” are among my favourites. The fight for water has long since begun, but some of us don't realize it yet.
NEPHREN-KA are playing very brutally and cruelly again this year. They have a good sound, interesting cover and in style the new album can again be compared to the best records from bands such as SUFFOCATION, ORIGIN, NILE, HATE ETERNAL. The songs are really very well written, they contain a lot of power, drive, such an ancient dark energy that the old bands had in them. When I look at the news in the evening, I say to myself that our planet has been suffering mainly from our stupidity and ignorance lately. As if the predictions of classic sci-fi authors were taking place right now and here. Maybe the apocalypse is behind the door. Just a little and they will be open. When that happens, he will play "From Agony to Transcendence" on the radio. The whole album, like a killer poison, is permeated by black, cold vibrations. Recording is definitely not a matter for one listening. It pays to persevere, come back several times and you will be rewarded with a great experience. At least I've practised it like that and I'm still discovering more and more layers and interesting moments. The songs may be a little more complicated at times, but don't worry, they still retain a demonic expression. Fear kills thinking. Fear is a small death that brings about complete annihilation.
