Venku pršelo a já jsem šel jako každý den do práce. Chodím pěšky, rád poslouchám muziku a sleduji ruch ulice. Je velmi brzy ráno a všichni ještě spí. Mlha a lehký déšť. Chlad se mi prodírá do kostí. Padá na mě splín. Vidím sanitku a houf lidí kolem. Srazili nějakého nebožáka. Všichni mají v ruce mobilní telefony a nahrávají si, jak umírá. Chce se mi zvracet. Lékaři marně prosí, aby je nechali pracovat. Najednou mám pocit, že vidím duši, jak vylétne nad město. Je smutná jako dnes já. Jdu dál a poslouchám novou desku americko-mexických death doomařů MAJESTIC DOWNFALL.

Schoulím se do sebe a celý den se mnou není řeč. Ve zprávách vidím, že oběť nepřežila. Bojím se otevřít sociální sítě, setkání se smrtí bylo až moc bolestivé. Raději poslouchám hudbu. Užívám si ledový a temný zvuk alba "Aorta". Je masivní, hutný, drásavý.

MAJESTIC DOWNFALL vycházejí ze stejných kořenů jako třeba takoví OPHIS, KATATONIA, MOURNFUL CONGREGATION, OCTOBER TIDE, SATURNUS, SWALLOW THE SUN. Jedná se o desku, u které budete mít pocit, že se svět kolem zastavil a mraky jsou nízko. Z nebe někdy prší krev. Je nasáklá lidskou zlobou, nenávistí, hloupostí. Také máte někdy chuť zmizet, odstřihnout se od všeho a ztratit se v lesích? Občas to dělám, čím jsem starší, tak častěji. Beru si s sebou jenom alba, která ve mě dokáží probudit emoce. "Aorta" je takovou deskou. Bolestivou, smutnou, pochmurnou. Jako ranní mlha, jako temné ulice. Už dávno neposlouchám muziku jenom ušima, ale spíš srdcem. Nic nového nelze vymyslet, užívám si raději dobré řemeslo, které umí MAJESTIC DOWNFALL na výbornou. Navíc přidávají kus sebe samého. Ze skladeb je to cítit, věřím jim každý tón, každou notu. Nemá cenu rozebírat jednotlivé pasáže, nahrávku je lepší poslouchat vždy v celku. Nechat ji na sebe působit. Užít si ten smutek a vyplavit jej ze sebe. "Aorta" je jako tichá modlitba za všechny hříšníky, za všechny prokleté a ztracené duše. A teď už mě prosím nechte, musím jít dál. Album si vezmu s sebou. Je totiž skvělé! Intenzivní death doom metalový zážitek! Panychida!

Do you also sometimes want to disappear, cut yourself off and get lost in the woods? Sometimes I do it the older I get, the more often I do it. I only take albums with me that can arouse my emotions. "Aorta" is such an album. Painful, sad, gloomy. Like the morning mist, like the dark streets. For a long time I have not listened to music only with my ears, but rather with my heart. Nothing new can be invented, I prefer to enjoy a good craft, which MAJESTIC DOWNFALL can do great. In addition, they add a piece of themselves. You can feel it from the songs, I believe them every tone, every note. There is no value in analysing individual passages, it is better to always listen to the recording as a whole. Let it work on you. Enjoy the sadness and wash it out. The "Aorta" is like a silent prayer for all sinners, for all cursed and lost souls. And now please leave me, I have to move on.
