Všechno svědčí o tom, že se zde odehrával tajný rituál pro vyvolávání zlých sil. Na kamenném oltáři je ještě zaschlá krev. Na zdech nakresleny pentagramy. Ne, tohle není žádná hra mladých satanistů, ale opravdové šílenství. Uvěřitelné a bolestivé. Přidám hlasitost, poslouchám právě novou desku britských démonů GRAVE MIASMA, a začnou se přede mnou, jako černobílý hororový film, odehrávat obrazy plné smrtí, násilí a nenávisti.
Slyším tichý šepot nemrtvých, užívám si bažinatou atmosféru celé desky. Jakoby kapela stála na hromadě lebek. Patřily kdysi obětem a jejich duše nikdy nenaleznou klid. Riffy jsou těkavé, těžké, vrstevnaté. Připomínají krvavou mlhu, ve které se mezi sebou rvou přízraky. Vítejte v nekonečné zemi stínů.
"Abyss of Wrathful Deities" mi přijde zase o nějaký řád chladnějším a temnějším albem. Kapela postupně zdokonaluje svůj styl, objevuje černá zákoutí lidské mysli, toulá se Hádovou říší a objevuje pro nás nové oblasti. Jestli jste si představovali, že po smrti nastane ráj, tak jste se hodně mýlili. Existuje jen nenávist, hniloba a utrpení. Alespoň tak slyším novou desku já. Jedná se o k dokonalosti vybroušený černý křišťál s mrtvolnou příchutí. Vše je postavené na základech, které kdysi postavily kapely jako IMMOLATION, INCANTATION a dále rozvíjely třeba takoví CRUCIAMENTUM, TEITANBLOOD, PSEUDOGOD, DEAD CONGREGATION, SONNE ADAM. Britové vás pozvou na návštěvu do království nihilismu a blasfemie. GRAVE MIASMA dokázali opět rozjitřit moji mysl, vzít mě do morbidní galerie smrti. Paleta smutných, zničujících nálad opravdu nejvíc připomíná starodávný rituál. Cítím během poslechu na svém hrdle ostří obětního nože. Brodím se po kolena v močálech, užívám si zvuk, obal, ale hlavně jednotlivé nápady, které jsou součástí démonického celku. "Abyss of Wrathful Deities" je tajemnou seancí, u které ožívají nemrtví! A také skvělým death metalovým albem po okraj narvaným nahrubo nasekanou tmou. Inferno!

"Abyss of Wrathful Deities" will lose an order of cooler and darker albums again. The band gradually improves their style, discovers the black corners of the human mind, roams the Serpent Realm and discovers new areas for us. If you imagined that paradise would come after death, you were very wrong. There is only hatred, rot and suffering. At least that's how I hear the new record. It is a perfectly cut black crystal with a dead taste. Everything is built on the foundations that were once built by bands such as IMMOLATION, INCANTATION and further developed such as CRUCIAMENTUM, TEITANBLOOD, PSEUDOGOD, DEAD CONGREGATION, SONNE ADAM. The British invite you to visit the kingdom of nihilism and blasphemy. GRAVE MIASMA managed to rekindle my mind, to take me to the morbid gallery of death. The palette of sad, devastating moods really is most reminiscent of an ancient ritual. I feel the blade of the victim's knife in my throat as I listen. I wade knee-deep in the swamps, enjoying the sound, the cover, but mainly the individual ideas that are part of the demonic whole. "Abyss of Wrathful Deities" is a mysterious session in which the undead come to life! And also a great death metal album rimmed to the brim by roughly chopped darkness. Hell!
