Postava v kápi, která vystoupí z husté mlhy. Bez tváře, připomíná siluetu ze zlých snů, ducha, který vás přišel navštívit. Skřehotavý hlas, který vás láká do záhrobí. Ty jsi má Smrt? Přijmete pozvání a jdete spolu do staré opuštěné hrobky. Její kostnatá ruka zakončená drápy se vám zadírá do masa. To abyste neutekli. Padá na vás tíseň a nekonečný smutek. Tak tohle je můj konec? Rezavý nůž, který pamatuje mnohé, je pozvednut a s razancí zabodnut do vašich vnitřností. Ukrutná bolest, ale také úleva. Odcházíš na onen svět s úsměvem. Víš totiž, že se tam bude hrát death metal.
Každý si představujeme smrt jinak. Italské maniaky HELSLAVE sleduji od jejich začátků. Vždycky se mi líbil jejich přístup k hudbě, takové to pradávné nadšení, které se podle mého nedá naučit. Musíte jej mít v sobě, musí být vaší součástí. Novinka "From The Sulphur Depths" je toho jasným důkazem. I letos dostanete ledový, temný death metal té nejvyšší jakosti.
Jako první zaujme formální stránka desky. Pod obalem je podepsán Juanjo Castellano a pod zvukem zase Dan Swanö, tedy záruka toho, že bude vše v nejlepším pořádku. A také je. Při skladbách se lámou kosti a na cover se nemohu vynadívat. Hlavní je ale hudba, která je přesně tím druhem skvělého záhrobního zážitku, který si potřebuji často a s chutí dávkovat do žil. Jedovatý, démonický, surový a zároveň melodický death metal staré školy. Při poslechu si často vzpomenete na kapely jako BLOODBATH, DISMEMBER, EVOCATION, DESULTORY, HYPOCRISY, AT THE GATES. HELSLAVE navíc přinášejí kus sebe samého, mají vlastní výraz a drtí lebky s nadšením a temnou silou. Album se velmi dobře poslouchá, stalo se na dlouhou dobu i mým odrazem v zrcadle. Rakve praskají tlakem, zombie tančí na vašich hrobech. Stará dáma Smrt se usmívá, takhle se totiž má hrát ryzí death metal. Sedí na svém trůnu a Italové obětují na její počest. Pokud máte rádi smrtící kov a s chutí navštěvujete nekonečné chodby podsvětí Hádovy říše, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. "From The Sulphur Depths" je chladnou ozvěnou ze záhrobí! Skvěle!

The formal side of the album is the first to be interesting. The cover is signed by Juanjo Castellano and the sound by Dan Swanö, which guarantees that everything will be in the best order. And it is. Bones break during songs and I can't help myself on the cover. But the main thing is music, which is exactly the kind of great funeral experience that I need often and with gusto to dose into my veins. In addition, HELSLAVE bring a piece of themselves, have their own expression and crush skulls with enthusiasm and dark power. The album listens very well, it has become my reflection in the mirror for a long time. Coffins burst under pressure, zombies dance on your graves. Old Lady Death smiles, because this is how pure death metal is to be played. She sits on her throne and the Italians sacrifice in her honor.
