Někdy se u nás na hřbitově ztratím a bloudím ve stínech. Vzpomínám na staré dobré časy a hledám náhrobky s nápisy slavných švédských death metalových kapel. Dnes ale nemusím. Jsou tu totiž GRAND CADAVER. Smečka, ve které se sešli zkušení muzikanti ze skupin jako DARK TRANQUILITY, KATATONIA, NOVARUPTA, TREBLINKA a spousty dalších, aby exhumovali poctivý smrtící kov, u kterého se chřestí pytlem plným prašivých kostí.
Podobná hudba se musí poslouchat pořádně nahlas. Jedná se o druh třaskavé směsi s dunivými bicími, chladnými melodiemi a chorobným vokálem. To vše zabalené do temnoty, mrazu a chladu. EP "Madness Comes" je ochutnávkou, hudbou, která koluje i v mých žilách. Myslím, že svůj hrob jsem již našel. Je na něm nápis GRAND CADAVER.
GRAND CADAVER nám předkládají v podstatě dokonalou esenci severských melodií a nálad. Vzpomeňme spolu s kapelou na staré ENTOMBED, GOREFEST, GRAVE, DISMEMBER, ENTRAILS. Pánové na to jdou ale přeci jen trošku jinak. Nejsou jen další retro kapelou v řadě, v některých momentech se pouštějí do lehkých progresivnějších momentů. "Madness Comes" je sice death metalem, zahraným poctivě, postaru, ale rozhodně nenudí, je zajímavý, má parádní zvuk, je radost jej poslouchat a vracet se k němu. Hroby se otvírají, nemrtví lezou z děr. A mají velký hlad. Cítím ze skladeb krev, líbí se mi, jakým způsobem jsou napsány, složeny. Mají v sobě drive a sílu, jsou heavy a rozdrásají vám tvář až na syrové maso. Troufám si tvrdit, že tahle exhumace se povedla na výbornou. Vítejte v dávno opuštěných katakombách! Riffy, které vám rozdrtí všechny kosti v těle, pukne vám lebka a vy budete rádi, že konečně ulehnete do staré dřevěné rakve. GRAND CADAVER namíchali velmi chutný koktejl toho, co mám na severském smrtícím kovu rád, přidali vlastní koření a podávají nám jej s elegancí a nadhledem. Hrobka je otevřena, stačí jen vstoupit! Absolutní švédský death metal s drtivým účinkem! Excelentní záležitost pro všechny nemrtvé!

But I don't have to today. GRAND CADAVER is here. A band in which experienced musicians from groups such as DARK TRANQUILITY, KATATONIA, NOVARUPTA, TREBLINKA and many others gathered to exhume honest deadly metal, which rattles with a sack full of dusty bones.
Similar music must be listened to really loudly. It is a kind of explosive mixture with booming drums, cool melodies and sick vocals. All wrapped in darkness, frost and cold. The EP "Madness Comes" is a tasting, music that circulates in my veins. I think I've already found my grave. It has the inscription GRAND CADAVER.
GRAND CADAVER presents us with basically the perfect essence of Nordic melodies and moods. Let's remember together with the band the old ENTOMBED, GOREFEST, GRAVE, DISMEMBER, ENTRAILS. Gentlemen, however, go a little differently. They are not just another retro band in a row, in some moments they embark on slightly more progressive moments. "Madness Comes" is death metal, played honestly, in old age, but it is not boring, it is interesting, it has a great sound, it is a pleasure to listen to it and return to it. Graves open, undead climb out of holes. And they are very hungry. I feel the blood from the songs, I like the way they are written, composed. They have drive and strength in them, they are heavy and they scratch your face except for raw meat. I dare to say that this exhumation was excellent. Welcome to the long-abandoned catacombs! The riffs, which will crush all the bones in your body, will break your skull and you will be happy to finally lie down in an old wooden coffin. GRAND CADAVER mixed a very tasty cocktail of what I like on Nordic deadly metal, added their spices and served it to us with elegance and foresight. The tomb is open, just enter! Absolute Swedish death metal with a crushing effect! The excellent affair for all the undead!
