Když jste se jí podívali do tváře, ihned vás zaujaly nezhojené jizvy. Byla krásná, přesto trpěla nenávistí sama k sobě. Prokletá, říkali o ní. Rozdrásala si obličej do krve, když zjistila, že jí celý život lhali. Modlila se k dávno padlé modle, věřila a rozhřešení nikdy nepřišlo. Viděla tolik zla a nenávisti, že by to vydalo na spoustu životů. Vzpomněl jsem si na ní, když jsem poslouchal nové album mezinárodní kapely CAMBION. Jejich syrový death metal načichlý tmou mi připomíná setkání s jejím stínem. Už je dávno po smrti. Pohřbená a přesto mezi námi.
Nikdy nenalezla klid. Ten nenaleznete ani vy, když budete poslouchat desku "Conflagrate The Celestial Refugium". Jakoby mi kapela také drásala tvář do krve. Rány jsou následně opláchnuty kyselinou, aby byla bolest ještě větší. Každý riff, každý motiv je jako ostrá žiletka. Navíc všechno smrdí sírou a opravdovým peklem.
CAMBION ctí staré dobré death metalové kořeny (CENTURIAN, HATE ETERNAL, IMMOLATION, KRISIUN, ANGELCORPSE, DIABOLIC, DEICIDE), rozvíjejí je a přidávají i velkou spoustu svých nápadů. Zvuk je hutný, masivní, vykostí vás za živa. Celé album je potom nasáklé pradávnými chorobami, absolutní ztrátou víry v Boha a zároveň prokletím. Jako bych se díval na řeku z lávy, kamení a starých kostí. Nevím, jak si představujete peklo vy, ale já si osobně myslím, že se kapele povedlo hodně přiblížit realitě. Peklo je totiž v každém z nás, rozkládá nás zevnitř, sálá a žhne. Stejně jako hudba na "Conflagrate The Celestial Refugium". Nahrávka vás, pokud podobný styl death metalu uctíváte, doslova rozdrásá do krve. Není totiž jenom skvěle odvedeným řemeslem, ale k dokonalosti vybroušenou smrtí. Obsahuje v sobě všechny potřebné ingredience pro opravdový, ryzí nihilistický zážitek. Nezná slitování. Teď už vím, proč ta dívka z úvodu zemřela a zároveň nenajde nikdy klid. Potkala totiž Satana, říkal si zrovna CAMBION a hrál absolutně devastující death metal. Myslím, že do téhle hrobky se budu dlouho a rád vracet. Cítím v ní totiž opravdovou Smrt. Nihilistický, blasfemický smrtící kov, který vás navěky prokleje! Inferno!

She scratched her face in the blood when she found out that they had lied to her all her life. She prayed to a long-fallen idol, she believed, and absolution never came. She saw so much evil and hatred that it would have claimed many lives. I remembered her listening to the new album of the international band CAMBION. Their raw death metal smell of darkness reminds me of meeting her shadow. It's long since she died. Buried and yet between us.
She never found peace. You won't find it also if you will listen to the album "Conflagrate The Celestial Refugium". It was as if the band was also scratching my face to blood. The wounds are then rinsed with acid to make the pain even greater. Every riff, every motif is like a sharp razor. Plus, everything stinks of sulphur and real hell.
CAMBION honours good old death metal roots (CENTURIAN, HATE ETERNAL, IMMOLATION, KRISIUN, ANGELCORPSE, DIABOLIC, DEICIDE), develop them and add a lot of their ideas. The sound is dense, massive, bones you alive. The whole album is then soaked in ancient diseases, an absolute loss of faith in God and at the same time a curse. It's like looking at a river of lava, rocks and old bones. I don't know how you imagine hell, but I personally think that the band managed to get very close to reality. Hell is in each of us, it decomposes us from within, it radiates and glows. Like the music on "Conflagrate The Celestial Refugium". If you worship a similar style of death metal, the recording will literally scatter you in the blood. It is not just a well-executed craft, but a perfect death. It contains all the necessary ingredients for a true, genuine nihilistic experience. It has no mercy. Now I know why the girl died from the beginning and at the same time she will never find peace. She met Satan, he called himself CAMBION and played absolutely devastating death metal. I think I will return to this tomb for a long time. I feel the real Death there. A nihilistic, blasphemous death metal that will curse you forever! Hell!
