Rozseknu rezavý řetěz. Vstoupíme dovnitř. Neměli bychom sem chodit. Ale už jsme měli všeho dost. Přetvářky, nenávisti, hlouposti. Tady je svět ještě v pořádku. Kdysi za město prý chodili staří metalisté a poslouchali tady muziku. Ze starých kazeťáků, s nápisy na tričkách. S pivem v ruce se pařilo jako o závod. Krásný konec osmdesátých let. Džínové bundy, kecky na nohou, sexy holky, co nás měly rády.
MORTAL TERROR pocházejí z této doby a hrají stále stejně. I novinka připomíná otevření krabice se vzpomínkami. Kapele pořád nechybí neurvalost, rebelie, ostré jedovaté riffy, vokály, se kterými budete chtít vykřičet do světa všechen nakumulovaný tlak, stres, vztek. Hergot, tahle deska řeže přímo do živého!
Na MORTAL TERROR je mi velmi sympatické, že si na nic nehrají, nepřetvařují se. Oni nejsou dnes tolik častou kopií, ale originálem, s vlastním výrazem. Na podobně znějícím thrash metalu jsem vyrůstal, s partou jsme se toulali a kazeťák řval do okolních domů na plný koule. Kousek za městem, na periferii, jsme kreslili loga kapel na zdi. "Bite of the Underdog" lze s klidem zařadit mezi německou klasiku. Deska zní jak vystřižená z počátku devadesátých let. SODOM, DESTUCTION, KREATOR, PROTECTOR, TANKARD. Pánové patří do stejné party. Hrají divoce, prašivě, chladně a nakopali nám zase zadky. Veteráni scény, kteří nikdy neuhnuli z cesty, to se cení víc než cokoliv jiného. Jasně, že to není nic nového, ale to já ani nechci. Já toužím po pivu, objetí své milé a thrash metalu, zahraném pořádně nahlas. Dnes už máme mnozí šedivé vlasy, nemocné klouby, ale pokud zazní podobné album jako "Bite of the Underdog", srdce nám začne bít ve stejném rytmu. Tahle deska je o věrnosti starému poctivému metalu, o radosti z hraní, o touze roztrhnout řetězy. Ukováno z kvalitní německé oceli! Thrash metal až za hrob!

The band still does not miss recklessness, rebellion, sharp poisonous riffs, vocals with which you will want to shout all the accumulated pressure, stress, anger into the world. MORTAL TERROR do not play any role, they do not transform. They are not another copy today, but an original, with their own expression. I grew up on similar-sounding thrash metal, we wandered with a group and the cassette player shouted to the surrounding houses. Just outside the city, on the outskirts, we drew the logos of the bands on the wall. "Bite of the Underdog" can easily be classified as a German classic. The record sounds like is cut from the early nineties. SODOM, DESTUCTION, KREATOR, PROTECTOR, TANKARD. The gentlemen belong to the same group. They play wildly, dusty, cold and they kicked our asses again. Veterans of the scene, who have never strayed from the road, value it more than anything else. Of course, it's nothing new, but I don't want it either. I want beer, a hug from my sweetheart and thrash metal, played really loud. Today we already have a lot of grey hair, sick joints, but if a similar album like "Bite of the Underdog" is heard, our hearts will start beating in the same rhythm. This record is about loyalty to old honest metal, about the joy of playing, about the desire to tear the chains. Made from high-quality German steel! Thrash metal to the grave!
