Musí být hrozně těžké se zmítat mezi vírou a vlastním svědomím. Každé tvé rozhodnutí bude špatné. Jsi jako krysa, zahnaná do rohu. Nenávidíš vlastní stín, zvuk svých kroků. Modlíš se, odůvodňuješ si své činy, ale rozhřešení nikdy nepřijde. Protivil ses lidskosti a historie ti nikdy neodpustí. Nakonec budeš jen černou skvrnou, která nelze vyčistit. Těsně před smrtí uvidíš žalující obličeje svých obětí. Budou mlčet, ale ty uslyšíš jejich nářek.
Nihilisté TOTALITARIAN jsou zpět s novým EP a vezmou vás na dlouhý výlet do zdánlivě opuštěných katakomb dole pod Vatikánem. Ano, přímo pod jednou z nejmocnějších církví světa. Která nám dala spoustu dobrého, ale často se zapomíná i na její zlé činy. Pánové se na spolupráci mezi pohlaváry křesťanů a jejich kolaboraci s nacisty dívají kritickou optikou. Ze skladeb je cítit nenávist ke všem nespravedlivostem, které byly napáchány. Některé zlo nelze odčinit, je příliš čitelné a bolestivé. Stejně jako hudba TOTALITARIAN.
"Kulturkampf / Los Von Rom" volně navazuje na předchozí EP "Bloodlands", hudebně mi ale přijde pestřejší, chladnější a temnější. Dvě skladby musíte poslouchat v klidu, nejlépe poučeni o našich vlastních dějinách. V temnotě a chladu. Potom nahrávka vynikne nejlépe. Atmosféra, která je jedním slovem podmanivá, vás zavede do starých katakomb. Na každé zdi je jméno někoho prokletého. Proč se díváš jinam, když vidíš zlo? Black death metal, odbočky až někam k noise, tajemno. Poslech se rovná sledování špinavé stoky pod vaším městem. Řeka zkažené krve a neodpustitelných hříchů. Ne, nebudu vám TOTALITARIAN k nikomu přirovnávat, raději přidám hlasitost a nechám se strhnout proudem. Italům se povedlo nahrát desku, která je skvělá ve všech směrech, hudba je doslova magická, obraz na obalu přesně vystihuje to, co se na ní odehrává - smrt. Témata textů sice mohou někoho šokovat, ale jak známo, pravda je nakonec jenom jedna. Surové zlo, překapaná a extrahovaná tma, vše smíchané se špínou, riffy jak vystřiženými z knihy mrtvých s vokálem bestie. Nakonec nás vždycky dostihne vlastní svědomí. A je jedno, jakým modlám se zrovna klaníme. "Kulturkampf / Los Von Rom" vám vypálí do kůže cejch. Líbí se mi kompozice skladeb, jejich gradace, směr i vášeň, které jsou v nich obsaženy mírou vrchovatou. Black death metal, u kterého ztratíte víru v lidskost!

“Kulturkampf / Los Von Rom” is a loose continuation of the previous EP “Bloodlands”, but musically I find it more colorful, cooler and darker. You have to listen to two songs in peace, best informed about our own history. In the dark and cold. Then the recording will stand out best. An atmosphere that is captivating in a word will take you to the old catacombs. On each wall is the name of someone cursed. Why do you look away when you see evil? BLack death metal, turns to somewhere to noise, mystery. Listening is tantamount to watching the dirty sewers under your city. A river of corrupt blood and unforgivable sins. No, I won't compare TOTALITARIAN to anyone, I´d rather turn up the volume and be swept aways by the current. The Italians managed to record an album that is great in every way, the music is literally magical, the picture on the cover captures exactly what is happening on it - death. The themes of the texts may shock someone, but as is well known, there is only one truth in the end. Raw evil, dripping and extracted darkness, all mixed with dirt, riffs as if cut from a book of the dead with the beast´s vocals. In the end, our own conscience always catches up with us. And it doesn't matter what idols we worship. “Kulturkapf / Los Von Rom” will burn a mark on your skin. I like the composition of the songs, their gradation, direction and passion which are contained in them to a great extent. Black death metal where you lose faith in humanity!
