Patřím mezi lidi, co dokáží vycítit zlo. Procházím se chodbami podzemí, toulám se v temnotách a často si připadám jako v nějakém šíleném snu. Bolest a utrpení, strach a nenávist je všude kolem. Všechno můžete v katakombách potkat. Dlouhé stíny prokletých, studené cely, ve kterých se mučí nevinní. Peklo je v každém z nás. Do téhle kobky jsem se opravdu těšil. Nad vchodem má nápis DIRA MORTIS a je zárukou dobrého death metalu. Vstupuji dovnitř a ztrácím se v temnotách.
Kapela má kořeny v devadesátých letech a dokáže svojí hudbou znázornit absolutní tmu. Na pomoc si k tomu bere odhodlání, opravdovost a starý prašivý death metal nasáklý zkaženou krví. Jedná se o hluboký polský underground, v kterém se cítím velmi dobře. Koneckonců je i mojí součástí a mám k němu velmi kladný vztah. Krev nelze jen tak vyměnit.
"Ancient Breath Of Forgotten Misanthropy" je albem, které muselo vzniknout někde v nekonečných chodbách podzemí. Brány do pekla byly otevřeny s razancí, šílenstvím a surovostí. Ostré riffy, chladné a temné melodie. Vše mokvá podobných stylem, jako to umějí kapely typu INCANTATION, IMMOLATION, AUTOPSY. DIRA MORTIS samozřejmě přidává své nápady, je originálním hudebním tělesem, které poznáte během několika shnilých tónů. Osobně se mi líbí jak zvuk, tak obal, vše je podřízeno celkovému černému výrazu. Z katakomb je jediný východ. Přímo do močálů, kde cesty lemují těla utopenců. Ve vzduchu se vznáší puch rozkládajících se mrtvol. Poláci sází hlavně na atmosféru a musím napsat, že mě novinka zcela pohltila. Procházím se při poslechu na onom světě, našlapuji tiše, jsem pozorovatelem a fanouškem pravé smrti, která stejně jako hudba nemá žádné slitování. Skladby jsou jako zanícená, dlouho neléčená rána, která začne hnisat. Tepe v ní zkažená krev, do rytmu bicích, praskne a vyteče z ní pravý špinavý death metal a občas se i blackově zaskřehotá. "Ancient Breath Of Forgotten Misanthropy" mě několikrát pohřbilo, zničilo, rozervalo na kusy. Jedná se o poctivou desku od zkušených muzikantů. Temná, chladná smrt, která vás navěky uvrhne do podzemí! Inferno!

Pain and suffering, fear and hatred are all around. You can meet everything in the catacombs. Long shadows of the cursed, cold cells in which the innocent are tortured. Hell is in each of us. I was really looking forward to this dungeon. Above the entrance is the inscription DIRA MORTIS and is a guarantee of good death metal. I enter and get lost in the dark.
The band has its roots in the nineties and can depict absolute darkness with its music. To help, he takes determination, authenticity and old dusty death metal soaked in rotten blood. This is a deep Polish underground, in which I feel very good. After all, it is also a part of me and I have a very positive attitude towards it. Blood can't just be changed.
"Ancient Breath Of Forgotten Misanthropy" is an album that must have been created somewhere in the endless corridors of the underground. The gates to hell were opened with vigor, madness and brutality. Sharp riffs, cool and dark melodies. Everything is wet in a style similar to that of bands such as INCANTATION, IMMOLATION, AUTOPSY. Of course, DIRA MORTIS adds its ideas, it is an original musical ensemble that you will recognize in a few rotten tones. Personally, I like both the sound and the cover, everything is subject to the overall black expression. There is only one exit from the catacombs. Directly into the swamps, where roads line the bodies of drowned people. The stench of decaying corpses floats in the air. Poles focus mainly on the atmosphere and I must write that the novelty completely engulfed me. I walk while listening to the other world, I tread quietly, I am an observer and a fan of true death, which, like music, has no mercy. The songs are like an inflamed, long-untreated wound that starts to fester. The rotten blood beats in it, to the rhythm of the drums, the real dirty death metal cracks and flows out of it, and sometimes it even crunches in black. "Ancient Breath Of Forgotten Misanthropy" buried me several times, destroyed me, tore me to pieces. This is an honest record from experienced musicians. A dark, cold death that will throw you underground forever! Hell!
