Polámaná žebra, lebka bez mozku. Kaluž krve a oči, vytřeštěné do tmy. Srážka s pohřebním vozem plným mrtvol pro mě byla fatální. Žil rychle, zemřel mladý, napsali mi na náhrobek. Ještě než mě pohřbili, tak jsem potkal francouzské death metalisty SKELETHAL a jejich novou desku "Unveiling the Threshold". Pomohla mi se přenést na druhou stranu, do země stínů.

Francouzi totiž přesně pochopili, o čem je starý, prašivý death metal. Opět nezapomněli na plesnivý zvuk, ostré riffy, devastující bicí a chorobný vokál. Troufám si tvrdit, že až jednou najdou mé rozkládající se tělo, budu mít v rakvi celou diskografii této kapely a místo košile budu navěky odpočívat v tričku SKELETHAL.

"Unveiling the Threshold" odsýpá jako lavina z polámaných kostí. Ve stylu GRAVE, ENTOMBED, NIHILIST, DISMEMBER, UHLEASHED, CARNAGE, ENTRAILS, ASPHYX, HOODED MENACE, CIANIDE. Stylově se SKELETHAL pohybují v temných zákoutích toho nejhlubšího podzemí. Dokáží přenést ducha starých death metalových časů do dnešní doby a navíc přidávají smradlavý odér čerstvě otevřených hrobů. Ležím v márnici a je mi zima. Zaschlá krev na mém těle postupně zčernala. Procesy rozkladu byly zahájeny. Je čas se vydat na dlouhou cestu bez konce. Hraje mi k tomu CD "Unveiling the Threshold" a už necítím žádnou bolest. Všechna zůstala v hudbě, v textech, v jednotlivých skladbách. Krev v očích, cítím se prokletý. Poslouchám album stále dokola a marně hledám nějaké slabé místo. SKELETHAL se znovu povedlo přivést duše prokletých zpět. Vytáhnout mrtvoly z hrobu a vytvořit absolutně ryzí a uvěřitelnou staroškolskou atmosféru death metalu. Dotýká se mě studená ruka smrti. Podléhám náladám desky, ztrácím se v močálech nekonečna. Vynikající nahrávka, která vám shnije v rukou! Totální smrt!

Before they buried me, I met the French death metalists SKELETHAL and their new album "Unveiling the Threshold". It helped me to transfer to the other side, to the land of shadows.

The guys from France understood exactly what old, dusty death metal is about. Again, they didn't forget the moldy sound, the sharp riffs, the devastating drums and the sick vocals. I dare to say that once they find my decaying body, I will have the whole discography of this band in the coffin and instead of a shirt and suit I will rest forever in a SKELETHAL T-shirt.

"Unveiling the Threshold" is rushing like an avalanche of broken bones. In the style of GRAVE, ENTOMBED, NIHILIST, DISMEMBER, UHLEASHED, CARNAGE, ENTRAILS, ASPHYX, HOODED MENACE, CIANIDE. Stylistically, SKELETHAL is moving in the dark corners of the deepest underground. They can transfer the spirit of the old death metal times to the present day, and in addition, they add a stinky odor of freshly opened graves. I'm lying in the morgue and I feel cold. The dried blood on my body gradually turned black. Decomposition processes have begun. It's time to go on a long journey without end. The CD "Unveiling the Threshold" plays for me and I don't feel any pain anymore. All pain remained in the music, in the lyrics, in the individual songs. Blood in my eyes. I feel I am cursed. I listen to the album over and over again and look for weakness but in vain. SKELETHAL again managed to bring the souls of the cursed ones back, pull corpses out of the grave and create an absolutely pure and believable old school death metal atmosphere. The cold hand of Death touches me. I succumb to the moods of the record; I get lost in the swamps of infinity. An excellent record that will rot in your hands! Total death!
