Z močálů se zase ozývaly podivné skřeky. Říkalo se, že kdo do nich vstoupí, nevrátí se nikdy zpátky. Mladí podobné zkazky považovali za pověsti s nejasným původem, ale do reality je vrátila první vražda. Dívka s rozsápaným břichem. Děs v očích a bledá tvář, která musela zažít něco hrozného. Mezi lidmi panoval neklid a každý se najednou zase ohlížel za sebe. Kdy tohle skončí? Temné přízraky se začaly toulat už i ulicemi. Jakou podobu má vlastně smrt? Ptám se stále častěji a přemýšlím, kdy přijdu na řadu.

LIE IN RUINS jsou pro mě kapelou, která mi na podobné otázky dává odpovědi. Death metalem, který mi koluje již dlouhé roky v krvi. Odkazem starých předků, pohřebištěm, kam se pohřbívají oběti násilných činů. Opravdovým hororovým filmem, který vás připoutá k obrazovce a začnete mu po nějaké době pevně věřit. Přízraky jsou mezi námi, LIE IN RUINS jsou toho jasným důkazem. 

Finský death metalový underground vydal další svědectví a nekonečných močálech, o bolesti, démonech a temnotě. LIE IN RUINS patří do čeledi kapel jako CRUCIAMENTUM, GRAVE MIASMA, DEAD CONGREGATION, LANTERN, SPECTRAL VOICE, DEIQUISITOR. Jsou smečkou, které nejen, že jí odkapává krev od huby, ale také dokáže složit hudbu, která probouzí staré děsivé démony. Jakoby se do skladeb opravdu otiskla nálada mlhavých močálů. Rozkládající se těla, oční důlky bez očí, vyplazený jazyk. Nekonečný smrad shnilého masa. A nad tím vším se vznáší jako nějaké obžaloba "Floating In Timeless Streams". Songy jsou někdy hrubé a surové, jindy chladné, ale hlavně neskutečně temné. Riffy se mi zadírají pod kůži, jsou dlouho neléčenou mokvající ránou, která se zanítí. Bolí, tepou, žhnou a bublají jako zkažená krev pod povrchem. LIE IN RUINS nás opět vzali na dlouhou cestu bez konce. Kolem se povalují zohavená těla a vzpomínky na pravý ryzí death metal. Finové jsou prašiví, jejich nová deska je tělem ve značném stádiu rozkladu. Novinka se opravdu povedla, ihned se letos umístila na předních místech v mé soukromé diskografii. Už zase slyším z močálů divné skřeky. Vynikající pocta démonům temnoty!

LIE IN RUINS are a band that gives me answers to similar questions. Death metal, which has been circulating in my blood for many years. The legacy of old ancestors, the burial ground where the victims of violent acts are buried. A real horror film that will tie you to the screen and you will start to trust it firmly after a while. The ghosts are among us, LIE IN RUINS are clear proof of that.

The Finnish death metal underground has given further testimony and endless swamps, about pain, demons and darkness. LIE IN RUINS belongs to the family of bands such as CRUCIAMENTUM, GRAVE MIASMA, DEAD CONGREGATION, LANTERN, SPECTRAL VOICE, DEIQUISITOR. They are a band that not only drips blood from its mouth, but also can compose music that awakens old scary demons. It was as if the mood of misty swamps really imprinted to the songs. Decaying bodies, eye sockets without eyes, tongue out. An endless stench of rotten meat. And above all, "Floating In Timeless Streams" hovers like an indictment. The songs are sometimes rough and raw, sometimes cold, but most of all incredibly dark. Riffs get under my skin, they are a long-untreated wet wound that becomes inflamed. They hurt, beat, glow and bubble like rotten blood beneath the surface. LIE IN RUINS took us on a long journey without end. The mutilated bodies and memories of real pure death metal around. The Finns are dusty, their new album is a body in a considerable stage of decomposition. The new album was is really good, it immediately took a place in the forefront of my private discography this year. I hear strange screams from the swamps again. An excellent tribute to the demons of darkness!
