Negace všeho dobrého, absolutní nihilismus. Jestliže byla předchozí Bílá vrána nadějí a vírou v dobro, tak letošní deska je ponurou výpovědí. Hnilobou našich zkažených myšlenek. HYPNOS vás pozvou na výlet bez konce, při kterém je vám nastaveno zrcadlo. Naštvanost, agresivita, to jsou věci, které mnohým na minulé nahrávce chyběly. Tentokrát budou myslím spokojeni.
Na "The Whitecrow" se mi líbila určitá melancholie, doomové nálady. Ty jsou pryč a přichází místo nich zlí a oškliví démoni z nočních můr. "The Blackcrow" je surovým, syrovým death metalovým albem. HYPNOS mají dávno svůj vlastní a jasně rozpoznatelný rukopis. Hlavními devizami jsou opět ledové melodie, tma a smrt.
"The Blackcrow" jsem si brával během světové pandemie často do mlhavých lesů, do bažin za naším městem. Zde nálada nahrávky vynikla nejlépe. Potkával jsem přízraky a přemýšlel, kam poslední dobou tenhle svět směřuje. Na HYPNOS se mi vždy líbilo, že kladou velký důraz nejen na hudbu, ale i na texty a grafiku. Posluchač dostane vždy komplexní dílo, na které je radost pohledět a donutí jej i k zamyšlení. Moravští bardi nejsou techničtí, ani brutální, ale sází spíše na vytváření negativních nálad. Chlad a temnota i určitá krutost se ukrývá v něčem jiném než u mnohých jiných, v určité záhadnosti a tajemnu. Při poslechu mám podobné pocity, jako když naleznete v lese roztrhané zvíře a víte, že šelma obchází stále kolem. Hádejte, komu půjde po krku? Líbí se mi momenty načichlé blackem, užívám si důrazný, čistý, ale zároveň bolestivý zvuk. Cítím z HYPNOS velké nadšení pro hudbu jako takovou. Jsou možná v některých pasážích lehce rozevlátí, neukotvení, ale to je jen drobnost, která mi nedokáže překazit celkový zážitek. Často bývám z dnešní doby zklamaný. Závist, klam, přetvářka jsou čím dál tím častěji vidět i slyšet. Je pro mě skvělé, že ještě existují kapely, jejichž hudbu si mohu vzít do bažin plných hnisu. Pomáhají mi přežít. Ne, HYPNOS nenahráli nejlepší death metalovou desku dekády, ale jsou přesvědčiví, upřímní a jejich skladby jim věřím. Vítej, Černá vráno, vezmi si naše duše! Tajemné death metalové album, ve kterém se potkává nekonečný chlad s temnotou!

I liked a certain melancholy, "doom mood" on "The Whitecrow". But they gone and are replaced by evil and ugly demons from nightmares. "The Blackcrow" is a raw death metal album. HYPNOS have for a ling time their own and clearly recognizable signature. The main advantages are again icy melodies, darkness and death.
During the world pandemic, I often took "The Blackcrow" to the misty forests, to the swamps outside our city. Here the mood of the recording stood out best. I met ghosts and wondered where this world was going lately. I have always liked HYPNOS that they place great emphasis not only on music, but also on lyrics and graphics. The listener always gets a complex work that is a pleasure to look at and makes him even think. Moravian bards are not technical or brutal, but rather bet on creating negative moods. Coldness and darkness, as well as a certain cruelty, are hidden in something diferent than at many others, in a certain mystery. When listening, I have similar feelings as when you find a torn animal in the forest and you know that the beast is still going around. Guess who's neck is next one? I like moments of black smell, I enjoy a strong, clean, but at the same time painful sound. I feel a great enthusiasm for HYPNOS for music as such. They may be slightly out of place in some passages, not anchored, but this is just a trifle that cannot interfere with my overall experience. I am often disappointed today. Envy, deception, hypocrisy are increasingly seen and heard. It's great for me that there are still bands whose music I can take to the swamps full of pus. They help me survive. No, HYPNOS didn't record the best death metal record of the decade, but they are convincing, honest and I believe their songs. Welcome, Black Crow, take our souls! A mysterious death metal album where endless cold meets darkness!
