Staří moc dobře vědí, že tahle válka nikdy neskončila. Propukla kdysi v osmdesátých letech a stále trvá. Válka s nebem. Ani jedna strana nezná slitování, útočí se bez kompromisů, rovnou do srdce. Pokud jste, stejně jako já, byli kdysi u zrodu téhle kovové nenávisti, neměla by vám uniknout americká četa rouhačů, kteří si říkají SKELETON. Stačí se podívat na obal, svícen a lebky, a máte ihned jasno. Tady se bude hrát hezky postaru, poctivě, surově, neurvale.

Vše si potvrdíte ihned u prvního poslechu. Původně hard core punková kapela se přesunula do starých katakomb, aby tam nahrála nové stejnojmenné album. Je určeno pro všechny, kteří rádi tráví dlouhé hodiny u svého přehrávače. Ano, tahle hudba patří na kazetu, na vinyl, k fanouškům, kteří stále chodí v džískách a křivácích. 

Základem desky je prašivý thrash/black metal, který odkazuje až někam k VENOM. Zavzpomínat si můžete ale i na norskou a švédskou metalovou školu (nezapomeňme ale ani na punk). Fantazii se meze nekladou. Pro mě je ale nejdůležitější to, že mě skladby řežou, pálí a hlavně baví. SKELETON nejsou samozřejmě v ničem objevní, ani noví, ale postavili se k hudbě čelem. Úplně před sebou vidím zaplivaný klub někde na periferii vašeho města. Je pátek a všichni se těší, jak je kapela rozseká. Stačí pár prvních tónů a všichni vědí, že takhle se má hrát old school true metal. Ostře, špinavě, ze skladeb musí odkapávat hnis a bolest. Chce se mi pařit, chce se mi skákat z pódia. Do mysli se mi vkrádá chlad a přidávám volume. Vše je ohlodáno na dřeň, až do morku kostí. Ano, potvrzuji, takhle přesně se v osmdesátých a devadesátých letech hrálo. Zvuk je uvěřitelný, nápady také, myslím, že si není na co stěžovat. Jasně, posluchači moderních směrů asi nepochopí, ale komu to prosím vás vadí? Hlavní je dobrý riff, zastřený vokál, dunivé bicí, feeling a drive. Všechno tohle se SKELETON dostává mírou vrchovatou. A já tak nemohu hodnotit jinak, než  - vynikající!

You will confirm everything at the first listen. Originally a hard core punk band, they moved to the old catacombs to record a new album of the same name. It is designed for everyone who likes to spend long hours with their player. Yes, this music belongs on tape, on vinyl, to fans who still wear jeans and leather jackets.

The basis of the album is dusty trash / black metal, which refers somewhere to VENOM. But you can also remember the Norwegian and Swedish metal school (let's not forget punk either). There are no limits to imagination. But the most important thing for me is that the songs cut, burn and most importantly, I enjoy it. Of course, SKELETON are not discoverable or new in anything, but they have faced music. Right in front of me I see a spit club somewhere on the outskirts of your city. It is Friday and everyone is looking forward to the band chopping them up. Just a few first tones and everyone knows that this is how old school true metal should be played. Sharply, dirty. Pus and pain must drip from the songs. I want to party, I want to jump off the stage. The cold creeps into my mind and I add volume. Everything is gnawed to the marrow, to the marrow of the bones. Yes, I confirm, this is exactly how it was played in the eighties and nineties. The sound is believable, so are the ideas. So there is nothing to complain about. Sure, modern students probably won't understand, but who cares? The main thing is a good riff, blurred vocals, booming drums, feeling and drive. All this SKELETON gets at a high rate. And so I can not evaluate other than - excellent!
