V márnici musí být chlad a temnota. Jinak se vám mrtvá těla promění v roztékající se kusy hnisu. Postupně nastanou procesy rozkladu. To je zákon přírody i zákon dobrého death metalu. Jednu takovou smečku, která přesně pochopila, o čem je smrt, bych pro vás měl. Z německého undergroundu se ke mě dostala ošklivá a nechutná deska šílenců DISGUSTING PERVERSION. Již při prvním poslechu jsem věděl, že pánové jsou stejně jako já plně oddáni ryzímu smrtícímu kovu.
Death metal musí bolet, být temný a prašivý. Tohle všechno Němci umí na výbornou. V jejich přítomnosti jsou procesy rozkladu urychleny a vy si tak můžete užít nekonečnou temnotu, plnou zohavených těl, ostrých riffů, plesnivého zvuku, chorobně znějícího vokálu a hlavně atmosféru, kterou naleznete opravdu jen v márnicích a dobrých deskách. Tohle je poctivý masakr, u kterého praskají staré kosti!
U některých riffů si zavzpomínáte na Chucka Schuldinera (DEATH), ale rozhodně se nejedná o kopírování. Spíše o rozvíjení jeho myšlenek. V dnešní době stejně nelze již asi vymyslet něco zcela nového a každá současná deska někoho připomíná. Osobně mi to ale vůbec nevadí, sázím více na celkovou náladu, dojem, na schopnost mě zaujmout. A DISGUSTING PERVERSION vás rozdrtí podobným způsobem jako to umí americké kapely z devadesátých let. Nalezneme zde ale i odkazy na evropské smečky (ASPHYX, GRAVE, PESTILENCE). Němci se tak zařazují po bok skupin SKELETAL REMAINS, COFFIN ROT, WITCH VOMIT, KURNUGIA a dalších, kteří ví jak s prastarým death metalovým odkazem zacházet. Pro mě osobně je důležité, že deska má nejen parádní obal i produkci, ale hlavně mě nenudí. Na "Eternity of Death" naleznete spoustu zajímavých momentů, songy v sobě mají drive a feeling. Stačí hrobníci mi má slova jistě potvrdí. DISGUSTING PERVERSION nám letos předložili starý prašivý death metal z márnic, katakomb a nekonečných chodeb podzemí. Nechte si chutnat, sejdeme se všichni na hřbitově!
There must be coldness and darkness in the morgue. Otherwise, your dead bodies will turn into scattering pieces of pus. Gradually, decomposition processes occur. This is the law of nature and the law of good death metal. I would have for you one band that understood exactly what death is about. An ugly and disgusting record of madmen DISGUSTING PERVERSION from the German underground. From the first listening, I knew that the gentlemen, are same like me fully committed to pure death metal.
Death metal must hurt, be dark and dusty. The Germans can do all of this very well. In their presence, the processes of decomposition are accelerated and you can enjoy endless darkness, full of mutilated bodies, sharp riffs, mouldy sound, sickly sounding vocals and especially the atmosphere, which you will really find only in morgue and on good records. This is an honest massacre when old bones are cracking.
For some riffs, you remember Chuck Schuldiner (DEATH), but it's definitely not a copy. Rather about developing his ideas. Nowadays, it is probably no longer possible to invent something completely new, and every current record resembles someone. Personally, I don't mind at all, I bet more on the overall mood, the ability to impress me. And DISGUSTING PERVERSION will crush you in a similar way as American bands from the 1990s. But we will also find links to European bands (ASPHYX, GRAVE, PESTILENCE). The Germans thus join to the bands as SKELETAL REMAINS, COFFIN ROT, WITCH VOMIT, KURNUGIA and others who know how to deal with the ancient death metal legacy. For me personally, it is important that the record not only has great cover and production, but most importantly it they does not bore me. On "Eternity of Death" you will find a lot of interesting moments, the songs have a drive and a feeling. Just the gravediggers will surely confirm my words. DISGUSTING PERVERSION presented this year old dusty death metal from mortuaries, catacombs and endless corridors of the underground. Enjoy! See you at the cemetery!
