Dějiny hudebního násilí jsou sepsány zkaženou krví. Kdysi dávno vzali lidé do rukou nástroje, aby stvořili brutální odnož death metalu. Bylo to jako šok. Nejednou se začalo soutěžit, kdo je rychlejší, nechutnější, šílenější. Říká se, že na počátku bylo slovo. Doplnil bych ještě německou skupinu DEFEATED SANITY. Pokud si chcete hezky počít v historii, stačí si pořídit jejich alba. Němci vždy věděli, jakým způsobem zaujmout. Již od počátku mají jasný a zřetelný rukopis.
Nebojí se lehce experimentovat, jejich brutální death metal není jen obyčejným opakováním dříve slyšeného, ale snaží se svoji hudbu okořenit. O novince "The Sanguinary Impetus" jsem toho slyšel a četl tolik, že jsem se musel o názory jiných přestat zajímat. Album uniklo dlouho před vydáním a každý si již dávno vytvořil svůj názor. Někdo nadává, někdo mluví o desce roku. Mám to nastavené trošku jinak.
Líbí se mi, že se s tím letos pánové moc nepářou. Posluchač je zasypán lavinou riffů, guturálního vokálu a spletitých rychlých bicích. Tak by asi nové album definoval někdo, kdo jde náhodou kolem. Je to samozřejmě složitější (někdy možná zbytečně moc). DEFEATED SANITY dokáží do svých songů propašovat spoustu zajímavých postupů a pasáží. Jen to chce trpělivost a vnímavost. Chápu, že pro někoho je deska už příliš extrémní, nezáživná a monotónní, ale fanoušci moc dobře vědí, že pod smrští se jako temná řeka ukrývá skvěle odvedená technická práce, progrese. Nejvíc u téhle kapely oceňuji asi tlak, který dokáží vytvořit. Novinka není výjimkou. Po delší době zjišťuji, že se velmi dobře poslouchá a stále objevuji nová zákoutí. Tentokrát se sice asi nahrávka nezapíše do knihy mrtvých (třeba já bych ocenil víc pekla a méně techniky), ale rozhodně stojí za pozornost a pečlivé prozkoumání. O zvuku, obalu a jiných věcech spojených s produkcí, se nemá cenu bavit. Na to jsou DEFEATED SANITY příliš velcí profíci, aby je podcenili. Pro mě je hlavní krvavá a temná atmosféra. A té je dostatek. Absolutní masakr lidské mysli!

The history of musical violence is written in rotten blood. Once upon a time, people took tools in their hands to create a brutal offshoot of death metal. It was like a shock. More than once, it started to compete who is faster, disgusting, crazier. It is said that in the beginning there was a word. I would add the German group DEFEATED SANITY. If you want to have a good time in history, just buy their albums. German people always knew how to attract. They have a clear and distinct handwriting from the beginning.
They are not afraid to experiment, their brutal death metal is not just an ordinary repetition of what has been heard before but they try to spice up their music. I heard and read so much about the new album “The Sanguinary Impetus” that I had to stop caring about the opinions of others. The album escaped long before its release, and everyone has already formed their own opinion. Some swear, some talk about it as the album of the year. I have it set a little differently.
I like that the gentlemen don't get along very well this year. The listener is covered in an avalanche of riffs, guttural vocals and intricate fast drums. So the new album would probably be defined by someone who happens to be passing by. Of course, it's more complicated (sometimes maybe unnecessarily much). DEFEATED SANITY can smuggle a lot of interesting techniques and passages into their songs. It just takes patience and sensitivity. I understand that for some the record is already too extreme, lifeless and monotonous. But the fans know very well that under the storm there is a well-done technical work, progress, hidden like a dark river. What I appreciate most about this band is the pressure they can create. The new album is no exception. After a long time, I find that it listens very well and I always discover new nooks and crannies. This time the record will probably not be written in the book of dead (for example I would appreciate more hell and less technique), but it is definitely worth attention and careful examination. There is no value in talking about sound, packaging and other things related to production. DEFEATED SANITY are too big professionals to underestimate them. For me the main thing is a bloody and dark atmosphere. And that's enough. THe absolute massacre of the human mind!
