Polský válečný tank s označením VADER znovu vyjel do boje. Zkušení veteráni, kteří pamatují největší boom death metalu a thrashe a jsou zoceleni dlouhými roky bojů, přicházejí se svým dalším albem. Nese název "Solitude in Madness" a opět je nekompromisní a typickou výpovědí o temnotě. Pro mě osobně také byli VADER první death metalovou kapelou, kterou jsem v devadesátých letech slyšel. Utvářeli spolu s KRABATHOR můj pohled na muziku jako takovou a zůstal jsem jim věrný dodnes. O novince si také myslím, že byla nahraná hlavně pro nás, pro věrné fanoušky.
I na nové desce naleznete vše, co máme na VADER rádi. Nabroušené riffy, devastující bicí a jako vždy všemu vévodí Peterův démonický hlas, který léty zraje jako dobrá whiskey. O zvuk se postaral Scott Atkins a odvedl skvělou práci. Ještě zmíním autora obalu - Wes Benscoter - motiv jsem ihned musel mít na tričku. Je úžasný.
"Solitude in Madness" je oproti minulé desce dle mého ještě víc do thrash metalu, až heavy metalová sóla osvěží, dodávají skladbám na pestrosti. Základem je ale stále ryzí rezavý death metal ze staré školy, u jehož vniku VADER kdysi stáli. Tahle smečka měla vždy svůj vlastní ksicht, který by jim mohla spousta ostatních závidět. Ne, polští válečníci rozhodně nevydali rutinní album, je neuvěřitelné, že i po tolika letech si kapela drží svoji kvalitu. Hlavním důkazem je pro mě potom fakt, že i když každý den vyjdou desítky nahrávek, na "Solitude in Madness" jsem se těšil nejvíc a ihned se stalo prvním albem, které si pouštím ráno po probuzení. Mám zkrátka chuť desku poslouchat, přidávat volume, skladby pro mě obsahují vnitřní pnutí, mají heavy efekt a nakopaly mi zadek. Tenhle tank do starého železa rozhodně nepatří, je totiž vyroben z pravé polské oceli, zakalen lety boje a letos znovu vyhlásil válku lidské hlouposti. Jsme druh, který se nikdy nepoučí, stačí si pustit zprávy, přečíst pár statusů na sociálních sítích. VADER jsou pro mě jistotou dobře vykonané práce, záchytným bodem, hudbou, ve které je svět ještě v pořádku. A nakonec vlastně i srdcovou záležitostí. Death thrash metalový tank, který nelze zastavit. Skvěle!

The Polish war panzer marked VADER went into battle again. Experienced veterans, who remember the biggest boom of death and thrash metal and who are hardened by many years of fighting, are coming up with their next album. It is called "Solitude in Madness" and again it is an uncompromising and typical statement about darkness. For me personally, VADER was also the first death metal band I heard in the 1990s. Together with KRABATHOR, they shaped my view on music, and I have remained true to them to this day. Accordingly, I think about the new record that it was recorded mainly for us, for loyal fans.
Even on the new record, you will find everything that we like related to VADER. I can mention sharpened riffs, devastating drums, and as always, everything is dominated by Peter's demonic voice, which matures like a good whiskey for years. Scott Atkins took care of the sound and did a great job. I would also mention the author of the cover art - Wes Benscoter - I immediately had to have the motif on my T-shirt. It is amazing!
In my opinion, "Solitude in Madness" is even more into thrash metal than the previous album, until the heavy metal solos refresh, and add diversity to the songs. The basis, however, is still pure rusty death metal from the old school, whose roots were built also by the VADER. This band has always had its own face, which many others might envy. No, the Polish warriors definitely didn't release a routine album. It's unbelievable that even after so many years, the band keeps its quality. The main evidence for me is the fact that even though dozens of records are released every day, I was looking forward to "Solitude in Madness". And this album immediately became the first album I turn on in the morning after waking up. I simply want to listen to this record, add volume, the songs for me contain internal tension, they have a heavy effect and they kicked my ass. This panzer definitely does not belong to scrap metal, as it is made of genuine Polish steel, hardened by years of fighting, and this year it has once again declared war to human stupidity. We are the species who will never learn from the mistakes. It is enough to watch the news, read a few statuses on social networks. For me, VADER is a guarantee of well-done work, a point of reference, music in which the world is still in order. And finally, a matter of the heart. Death thrash metal panzer that can't be stopped. Great!
