APOSENTO - Conjuring the New Apocalypse

Procházím se po starém opuštěném hřbitově a čtu si nápisy na náhrobcích. Jak si žil a jak si zemřel? U jedné hrobky se zastavím a vstoupím dovnitř. Je vytesána z kamene a uvnitř odpočívá bestie. Nemusím ji nikomu představovat. APOSENTO, španělští death metaloví veteráni, kteří datují svůj vznik do roku 1990. Usednu venku na lavičku a z vedlejšího hrobu vystřelí kostnatá ruka. Drží v ruce nové CD "Conjuring the New Apocalypse". Zlo se po třech letech vrátilo. Šelma se znovu probudila.

Minulá deska "Bleed to Death" (2017) byla dlouho hostem v mém přehrávači. Na téhle smečce se mi líbí, že hraje přesvědčivě, upřímně. Pánové mají smrtící kov za ta léta zakódovaný v genech a je to znát. Nepřinášejí sice vůbec nic nového, ale to po starých psech ani nechci.

APOSENTO znovu útočí podobným stylem, jako to dělávaly kapely typu MASSACRE, DEICIDE, MONSTROSITY, DEATH, SIX FEET UNDER. Pod chorobným zvukem je podepsán Dan Swanö (Unisound), o obal se postaral Naroa Etxebarria. Po formální stránce je vše v absolutním pořádku. Kapela ale umí navíc předat spoustu temné energie. Skladby jsou neurvalé, praskají u nich kosti, obracejí se kříže směrem dolů, svěcená voda je zkalena krví. Španělé nejsou jen dobří a zkušení hrobníci, ale dávají do své hudby kus sebe. Uvěřitelnost, prašivinu, shnilé kousky nahrubo nakrájeného masa. "Conjuring the New Apocalypse" připomíná noc strávenou v márnici. Má podobnou atmosféru, je chladná, šílená, plesnivá. Je pro mě starodávným okultním obřadem, návštěvou opuštěného chrámu, ve kterém se odehrávaly zakázané rituály. Pokud máte rádi old school death metal v jeho ryzí podobě, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. Tady se řeže přímo do živého. Vítejte v pekle!

I am walking through the old abandoned cemetery and reading the inscriptions on the tombstones. How did you live and how did you die? I stop in front of one of the tombs and enter it. It is carved out of the stone and the beast rests inside. I don't have to introduce this beast to anyone. It is APOSENTO, a Spanish death metal legend who dates its birth back to 1990. Then I sit outside on a bench and a bony hand immediately appears from the next grave. It holds a new CD "Conjuring the New Apocalypse". Evil has returned after three years. The beast has awoken again.

Their last album "Bleed to Death" (2017) has long been a guest in my player. I like this band because they play convincingly and honestly. Gentlemen achieve the deadly metal encoded in their genes over the years, and you know that. They don't bring anything new at all, but I don't even want that after old dogs.

APOSENTO attacks again in a similar style like bands as MASSACRE, DEICIDE, MONSTROSITY, DEATH, SIX FEET UNDER. Dan Swanö (Unisound) took care of the sick sound, the cover was made by Naroa Etxebarria. Formally, everything is absolutely fine. But the band can also transfer a lot of dark energy into the music. The Spanish are not only good and experienced gravediggers, but they put a piece of themselves into their music. Credibility, brutality, rotten pieces of coarsely chopped meat. "Conjuring the New Apocalypse" reminds me of the night spent in a morgue. It has a similar atmosphere. It's cold, crazy, moldy. It is an ancient occult ceremony for me, as a visit to an abandoned temple where forbidden rituals took place. If you like old school death metal in its pure form, do not hesitate either for a moment. This album cuts directly into the flesh. Welcome to hell!
