Vstanu brzy ráno a vylezu před dům. K mému překvapení tam stojí vůz s nákladem plným z kostí a zkaženého masa. A že prý pro mě mají zásilku z lidské kafilerie. Promnu si oči, myslím si, že je to jen zlý sen, ale opak je pravdou. EXHUMED vydali nové album a pro mě to opět znamená spoustu času stráveného s jejich hudbou a na zakázaných pitvách. Mám rád směr, kterým se kapela poslední roky ubírala, líbí se mi výbušná směs, umíchaná z deathu, grindu a thrashe, kterou si lze vychutnat i na jejich novince "Horror".

Je to masakr motorovou pilou, pocity z nové desky lze opravdu přirovnat snad jen k těm nejnechutnějším hororovým filmům. Ostré riffy, sekající vás na malé kousky zcela zbytečného masa, Mattův nezaměnitelný vokál a divoké běsnění bicích. Tady nelze udělat chybu, poslech při každém novém setkání získává na intenzitě. Hlavně se s ničím nepárat, to je to, oč tu běží. Masakr!

V dobách, kdy se sérioví vrazi mohou stát celebritami sice EXHUMED svoji tvorbou již nijak nešokují, ale bylo by chybou hovořit jen o dobrém řemesle. Pro mě osobně jsou důležité hlavně tlak, energie, velmi dobrý zvuk, klasicky pojatý obal. Potom také zvláštní temná jiskra, díky které kapela pořád dokáže zažehnout černý oheň. Je docela dost možné, že i ve vašem městě se po setmění děje spousta ohavných věcí. Ty bohužel nezměníme, ale abychom se z dnešního světa úplně nezbláznili, je potřeba mozek propláchnout poctivou muzikou. "Horror" k tomuto účelu poslouží na výbornou. Špinavý death grind, který nakope zadky všem, kteří vás během dne naštvali. Jednou jsem se řízl hluboko do masa a rána se zanítila, nepomáhala desinfekce, nepomáhalo nic. Kdybych měl tenkrát po ruce tuhle novou desku, vyřízla by mi zkažené místo bez umrtvení. Tady se hraje pro všechny, kteří ještě nezapomněli pitvat, kapela se vrací a inspiruje svými vlastními nahrávkami a dělá to opět výborně! "Horror" je jako srážka s náklaďákem plným kostí a hnijícího masa! Výborně!

I get up early in the morning and get out in front of the house. To my surprise, there is a truck with a load full of bones and spoiled meat. The driver says they have a shipment from the human rendering plant for me. I rub my eyes, I think it's just a bad dream, but the opposite is true. EXHUMED released a new album, and for me, it again means a lot of time spent with their music and at the forbidden autopsies. I like the direction that the band has taken in recent years. I like the explosive mix of death, grind, and thrash, which you can enjoy on their new album "Horror".

It's a chainsaw massacre, and the feelings of the new record can only be compared to perhaps the most disgusting horror movies. Sharp riffs slashing you into small pieces of totally useless meat, Matt's unmistakable vocal, and the wild rage of the drums. After each next listening, the album gets more intense. Massacre!

At a time when serial killers can become celebrities, EXHUMED is no longer shocking by their music; it would be a mistake to talk only about the excellent craft. For me personally, the most important is pressure, energy, excellent sound, classic cover art. Then also a strange dark spark, thanks to which the band can still ignite a black fire. It is quite possible that even in your city a lot of nasty things are happening after becoming dark. Unfortunately, we will not change them, but in order to not completely go crazy from today's world, it is necessary to flush the brain with honest music. "Horror" serves excellent for this purpose. A dirty death grind that kicks asses to everyone who upsets you during the day. Once, I cut deep into the flesh, and the wound became inflamed, disinfection did not help, nothing helped. If I had this new record back then, it would cut out spoiled meat without an anesthetic. Here, the album is playing for all those who have not forgotten to perform an autopsy, the band comes back and inspires with their own records and does it great again! "Horror" is like a collision with a truck full of bones and rotting flesh! Great!
