Nás, staré hrobníky, už jen tak něco nešokuje. Taháme každý den pytle plné kostí, ukládáme rakve do hlubokých hrobů. V dešti, zimě, když je zmrzlá zem, pořád jsou našimi nástroji lopata a krumpáč. Každý večer necháváme pootevřené dveře do márnice, protože moc dobře víme, že až se setmí, tak se probudí temné síly. Táhneme dál plné vozíky shnilého masa, lidských ostatků, nenávisti i strachu. Setkání se Smrtí je pro nás samozřejmé a nechává nás chladným. Posloucháme hudbu, která je vlastní našemu srdci, posloucháme death metal.
Pokud bych měl definovat styl zvaný švédský death metal, nesměl bych zapomenout zmínit i jedny z nejryzejších představitelů této hudby - ENTRAILS. Kapela každým novým albem zraje jako dobře uleželá mrtvola. Máte rádi chřestění pytlem plným kostí, chorobný hlas, chladné melodie a riffy, které mají destruktivní účinek? Potom není nic jednoduššího, než si narvat do hlavy novinku "Rise of the Reaper".

ENTRAILS jsou samozřejmě ze stejného hnízda jako třeba takoví ENTOMBED, NIHILIST, DISMEMBER, GRAVE. Na tom se nic nemění a je to jen a jen dobře. Novinka odsýpá v rytmu bortící se hromady z lebek. Je přesnou definicí nekonečné smrti. Pánové jsou ortodoxní ve své hudbě, textech i celkovém provedení. Připomínají exhumaci staré rakve, u které s napětím čekáte, co bude uvnitř. Otevřete těžké dřevěné víko a vyskočí na vás vzpomínky na devadesátá léta minulého století. Líbí se mi hra s temnými náladami, hororový nádech skladeb i devastující pasáže, u kterých mám sto chutí tančit na hrobech. Chvilková zvolnění ještě víc znázorňují pochmurnou atmosféru celé desky a dávají na vědomí, kdo je šlechtou současného severského undergroundu. My staří hrobníci moc dobře víme, že oběti násilných činů nebudou mít klid ani po smrti. Budou navěky bloudit mezi naším a oním světem. Mé pocity z desky "Rise of the Reaper" jsou velmi podobné. Tohle je pravý, nefalšovaný smrtící kov, nahraný ve starých katakombách. Absolutní švédský death metal, totální inferno!

If I should to define a style called Swedish death metal, I shouldn't forget to mention some of the purest representatives of this music - ENTRAILS. The band matures with each new album like a well-placed corpse. Do you like the rattling of a bag full of bones, a sick voice, cool melodies and riffs that have a destructive effect? Then there is nothing easier than to bang your head with the new "Rise of the Reaper".
ENTRAILS are of course from the same nest as ENTOMBED, NIHILIST, DISMEMBER, GRAVE. Nothing change and it is just good. The novelty drips away in the rhythm of the collapsing pile of skulls. It is the exact definition of infinite death. The gentlemen are orthodox in their music, lyrics and overall performance. They remind you of the exhumation of an old coffin, which you expect with tension what will be inside. Open the heavy wooden lid and the memories of the 1990s will pop up. I like the game with dark moods, horror tones of songs and devastating passages where I have a desires to dance on graves. The momentary slowdowns further illustrate the gloomy atmosphere of the whole album and note who is the aristocracy of the contemporary Nordic underground. We old gravediggers know very well that victims of violent acts will not have peace even after death. They will wander forever between our world and the other. My feelings for "Rise of the Reaper" are very similar. This is a true, genuine deadly metal, recorded in old catacombs. Absolute Swedish death metal, total inferno!
