Z dálky slyším zvony, pomalu se stmívá, nastal můj čas. Beru si jen pár nezbytných věcí a jako každý večer se vydávám do země stínů. Malý hřbitov nad městem, pod korunami starých stromů. Vrzne brána, přivítá mě nářek nemrtvých. Dnes bude dlouhá noc. Těším se na další hudbu, na další pohřbívání, na death metal. Mramor a pískovec, kříže na hrobech, tentokrát mě čeká starodávná hrobka s nápisem TALES OF BLOOD. Vstupuji dovnitř, rozhrnu závoj z pavučin. Zapínám svůj přehrávač a nechám se unášet po klikatých cestách záhrobí.
Novinka kapely, která datuje svůj vznik do devadesátých let, je prvním dlouhohrajícím albem. Pánové mají na svém kontě ještě jedno demo z roku 2002 a EP "Horrors of the Flesh" z roku 2006. Očekávat můžete ryzí, opravdový, klasický death metal, zahraný s přehledem zkušených muzikantů. Už při prvním poslechu mám pocit, že mě za ruku chytla samotná Smrt.

"Stuffing the Graveyard" je po okraj narvané hnilobou, chladem, tmou a bolestí. Jedná se přesně o ten druh nahrávky, kterou slyšíte třeba posté a stále objevujete nové momenty. Zakloním svoji hlavu, marně hledím k nebi, ne tady není mé místo, já patřím, stejně jako tahle smečka do nekonečných chodeb podsvětí. Když říznete do starého uschlého těla, tak se postupně rozpadne, lebka nakloní na jednu stranu a budete si chvilku myslet, že se na vás směje. Z očních důlků vylezou červi a vy si všechno tohle budete promítat při poslechu na zeď jako nějaký starý černobílý horor. Mrtvá těla zase připomínají legrační loutky, co jsme bez života, bez dechu? Jen kusy čehosi, co nemá žádný smysl. Někdy bývá zajímavé, co ve mě dokáže muzika probudit za emoce, ale právě o předaných pocitech pro mě hudba je. A TALES OF BLOOD ve mě dokázali probudit ty nejtemnější noční můry. Myslím, že se dnešní výlet na hřbitov velmi vydařil. Zapisuji kapelu do velké knihy mrtvých, zaslouží si to. Pokud oceňujete u hudby nejen dobré řemeslo a nápady, ale vyžadujete také něco navíc, potom jste zde správně. Francouzi totiž nahráli skvělé old school death metalové album, u kterého se rozpadnete v prach!

A small cemetery above the city, under the canopy of old trees. The gate rushes in and crying of undeath welcomes me. Tonight, will be a long night. I am looking forward to more music, another burial, death metal. Marble and sandstone, crosses on graves, this time an ancient tomb with the inscription TALES OF BLOOD awaits me. Entering inside, pull the veil out of the cobwebs. I turn on my player and let myself drift down by winding paths of the grave.
The new album of band, which dates back to the 1990s, is the first full-length album. Gentlemen have another demo from 2002 and EP "Horrors of the Flesh" from 2006. You can expect pure, real, classic death metal, played with an overview of experienced musicians. Already at the first listening I feel that Death itself grabbed my hand.
"Stuffing the Graveyard" is brimming with rot, cold, darkness and pain. This is exactly the kind of recording you hear for the hundredth time, and you are always discovering new moments. I lean my head back, vainly look up at the sky, not here is not my place, I belong, just like this band to the endless corridors of the underworld. When you cut into an old withered body, it gradually disintegrates, the skull tilts to one side, and you will think for a moment that it is laughing at you. Worms will come out of eye sockets and you will project all of this on wall as an old black and white horror movie. Dead bodies are reminiscent of funny puppets that are lifeless, breathless? Just pieces of something that makes no sense. Sometimes it is interesting which emotion music can awaken in me, but just about the transmitted feelings to me is music about. And TALES OF BLOOD managed to awaken the darkest nightmares in me. I think that today's trip to the cemetery was very successful. I write the band in the big book of the dead, they deserve it. If you value not only good crafts and ideas at music, but you also want something extra, then you are right here. The Frenchmen recorded a great old school death metal album, while listening this you will break into dust!
