Tam někde na severu, v opuštěných močálech, muselo vzniknout nové album SAINT VITUS. Doom metalová legenda nadále zůstala věrna svému stylu. Neočekávejte nic nového. Jsem rád, že i v dnešním šíleném světě jsou alespoň někde jistoty. Znovu a rád se brodím mezi pochmurnými náladami, jedovatými riffy i mokvajícími bicími. Svět je najednou šedý, stejně jako obal stejnojmenného alba.

Houpu se do rytmu, nasávám tmu a dostávám chuť na něco ostřejšího. SANT VITUS jsou zkušenými muzikanty, hodnotit desku po formální stránce by byla z mé strany troufalost (také je vše v nejlepším pořádku), mohu se jen pokusit vyjádřit své pocity.

Našlapuji opatrně, abych se v doomových močálech neutopil. Bořím se do krvavého bahna, sleduji tváře utopených. Vypadá to, že jsem zde správně. Tahle oblast je poznamenána hudbou BLACK SABBATH, PENTAGRAM, THE OBSESSED, CATHEDRAL. A hlavně syrovou, poctivou muzikou SAINT VITUS. V každém z nás se ukrývá bestie a při poslechu o sobě dává pořádně nahlas vědět. Prodírám se mlhou, děsím se každého stínu, tuhle desku musíte vnímat všemi póry těla, jinak ji nepochopíte. Je tradiční, přesto šílená, je tajemná i bolestivá, je doom metalovou učebnicí, je krvavým otiskem špatných dní. Mé tělo už brzy roztrhají dravci, stanu se potravou, pomíjivým kusem masa. Než tak nastane, budu si "Saint Vitus" užívat, houpat se na zpěněných vlnách doom metalu. Odpočívejte v pokoji! Skvělý obřad!

Somewhere on the north, in the abandoned swamps, a new album of SAINT VITUS had to be created. Doom metal legend has remained devoted to its style. Don't expect anything new. I am glad that even in today's insane world, there are at least some certainties. Again, and again, I was wading among the gloomy moods, the poisonous riffs, and the moist drums. The world is suddenly gray, similar to the cover art of the same album.

I swing to the rhythm, suck the darkness, and get an appetite on something a bit sharper. SAINT VITUS are experienced musicians; it would be audacious for me to evaluate the album from a formal point of view (of course, everything is OK), I can only try to express my feelings.

I tread carefully to not drown in doom marshes. I sink into the bloody mud; I watch at the drowned faces. It looks like I'm in the right place. This area is marked by the music of BLACK SABBATH, PENTAGRAM, THE OBSESSED, CATHEDRAL. And mainly by the raw, honest music of SAINT VITUS. There is a beast hidden in each of us, and during the listening, this beast wakes up and by the loud voice draws attention to itself. I struggle through the mist, and I afraid of every shadow. You must perceive this record with all the pores in the body; otherwise, you will not understand it. It's traditional, yet crazy; it's mysterious and painful; it's like a doom metal textbook. It's a bloody reflection of bad days. Predators will soon tear my body into pieces; I will become a regular food, an omissible piece of meat. Before this happens, I will enjoy "Saint Vitus" album, swaying on foamy waves of doom metal. Rest in peace! Great ceremony!
