Jednou jsem měl divný sen, ve kterém jsem musel proběhnout chodbou plnou ostrých nožů. Připravil jsem se ke startu a i když nevěřím v Boha, tak jsem se pokřižoval. Prvních pár kroků, prvních pár krvácejících ran. Někde tak uprostřed jsem byl už tak pořezaný, že začala z mého břicha lézt střeva. Nebudu vás dál napínat, nakonec jsem doběhl nebo spíše to, co ze mě zbylo. Zajímavé je, že mě v cíli nečekal ani pohár, ani radost, ale jenom smrt.
Když jsem si poprvé pustil novinku německých death metalistů SINNERS BLEED, připadal jsem si úplně stejně, jako ve svém snu. Jen s tím rozdílem, že má krev byla imaginární. Novinka "Absolution" je přesně tou ostrou směsí riffů, melodií a tlaku, u kterého vám začne odpadávat maso od kostí.
"Absolution" je teprve druhým dlouhohrajícím albem kapely. Připadá mi, že SINNERS BLEED museli nechat své nápady pořádně vyzrát, protože vše sedí přesně na svých místech. Temnota, tlak, chlad. Technický death metal (SUFFOCATION, CRYPTOPSY, DEATH) je velice šikovně kombinován s výlety až někam k thrash metalu. Výsledek je pro mě osobně vynikající. Jednotlivé nápady jsou přesně zacíleny, deska každým dalším poslechem roste, skvělý je zvuk i obal. Samozřejmě, album si oblíbí hlavně ti, kteří rádi nad hudbou i přemýšlejí. První setkání možná lehce odradí lehkou komplikovaností, ale nenechte se mýlit. Novinka chce čas. Chodbou plnou ostrých čepelí také napoprvé ihned neproběhnete. Nejvíc se mi líbí asi mrazivá atmosféra, takový ten prašivý odér, který z nahrávky cítím. Stojím znovu na startu, se sluchátky na uších a "Absolution" v přehrávači. Přidávám volume, objeví se první krev a pak už to znáte. Perfektní, technicky laděné death metalové album, které řeže do živého!

Once I had a weird dream in which I had to run down a hallway full of sharp knives. I got ready to run and although I do not believe in God I still crossed myself. I took a few first steps, first few bleeding wounds. Somewhere in the middle I was already cut so much that my guts were crawling out of my body. I do not want to keep you in shades so I will spit it - I ran to the finish line or at least what was left of me. The interesting part was that in the end there was no price, no trophy, no joy, just death.
When I first listened to the new album by German death metal band SINNER BLEED I felt absolutely the same as in the dream. The only difference was that my blood was imaginary. The new album “Absolution” is exactly the right mixture of riffs, melodies and pressure which will make your flesh fall off your bones. “Absolution” is only the second long-played album by this band. I think that SINNERS BLEED must have left their ideas to mature because everything just fits. Darkness, pressure, coldness. Technical death metal (SUFFOCATION, CRYPTOPSY, DEATH) is nicely combined with trips to thrash metal.
The result is perfect for me. The individual ideas are precisely targeted, the album grows with each listening, great sound, great cover. Of course, this album is great for those who like to think about music. The first listening might not be the best since the album is slightly complicated but do not be mistaken. The album needs some time. You too cannot run through a hallway full of sharp knives for the first time without problems. What I like the most is the freezing atmosphere, the dusty odor I feel from the album. I am standing on the start with my headphones and “Absolution” is playing. I turn on the volume, some drops of blood are appearing and then….you know how it goes. Perfect, technically tuned death metal album which cuts to your live flesh.
