Přání pozůstalých je pro mě závazkem. Nejdříve omyji mrtvé tělo vodou, odstraním nečistoty i zaschlou krev. Upravím její tvář, ostříhám vlasy. Jsem umělcem, mé dekorace jsou pověstné. Balzamuji již dlouhé roky a patřím k nejlepším. Obdiv u otevřené rakve je pro mě odměnou. Nahlížím na onen svět, poslouchám jen dobrý brutální death metal. Dodává mi sílu, inspiruje mě a uklidňuje mou mysl.
Dnes mi přivezli oběť sebevraždy a nešlo jinak, než k němu volit novou desku britských APOSTATE. Jejich kvalitní technický death metal jak vystřižený z devadesátých let vedl moji ruku takovým způsobem, že jsem odvedl jedno ze svých pověstných uměleckých děl. Je jako živá, říkali pozůstalí a já si musel jít pustit "At the Tomb of Sanity" znovu. Album mě ihned pohltilo a jako nějaké ostré jehly probodlo mé mozkové buňky.
"At the Tomb of Sanity" je deskou, ze které je cítit inspirace kapelami jako PYREXIA, SUFFOCATION, DEEDS OF FLESH. Tradiční brutalita se zde potkává s technickými pasážemi, které vyznívají zajímavě a ostře. Líbí se mi, že se APOSTATE vyhnuli zbytečným preludiím a motivy skladeb jsou jasně zřetelné a zacílené. Skvělý je i obal alba, který působí opravdu monumentálně a přesně vystihuje to, co se na CD odehrává. Jedná se o prvotinu a to bývám většinou trošku shovívavější, ale tentokrát vůbec nemusím. Vše sedí na svých místech, nahrávka nepostrádá potřebný drive a sílu. U nás, v brutálně death metalové pitevně rozhodně "At the Tomb of Sanity" nezapadne. Osobně jsem se na každý další poslech těšil, užíval si jej a to i přesto, že APOSTATE do tohoto stylu nepřinášejí nic nového. Další mrtvé tělo, další zásek do má duše. Přidávám volume a kývám se do rytmu. Tohle je perfektně odvedená morbidní práce s poctivou temnou jiskrou navíc. Masakr těla i mysli! Technický brutální death metal, u kterého vykrvácíte! Velmi dobře!

Today they brought me a suicide victim and was not possible to choose play something different than new British APOSTATE album. Their high-quality technical death metal cut out of the 1990s led my hand in such a way that I did one of my famous works of art. She's as alive said survivors, and I had to go play "At the Tomb of Sanity" again. The album swallowed me immediately and pierced my brain cells by some sharp needles.
"At the Tomb of Sanity" is the album that is inspired by bands like PYREXIA, SUFFOCATION, DEEDS OF FLESH. Traditional brutality meets with technical passages that are interesting and sharp. I like the fact that APOSTATE avoided unnecessary preludes and the motifs of the songs are clear and focused. The album cover is great as well, which is really monumental and accurately describes what is happening on the CD. This is their first work, and I usually tend to be a bit lenient, but this time I don't have to. Everything is sitting in its place, the recording not missing necessary drive and strength. For us, in the brutal death metal dissection definitely "At the Tomb of Sanity" fit perfectly. I personally enjoyed each time I listen that album, even though APOSTATE does not bring anything new into this style. Another dead body, another cut into my soul. I'm adding volume and nodding to the beat. This is a perfectly done morbid work with an honest dark spark. Massacre of body and mind! The technical brutal death metal you bleed with! Very good!
