Otevřu rezavou bránu a vstoupím dovnitř. Přede mnou se rozkládá pochmurná scenérie starého hřbitova. Chodím sem přemýšlet, odpočinout si. Bývá tu zdánlivý klid. Usedám na dřevěnou lavici, která pamatuje mnohé. Pouštím si do uší novinku finských GOD DISEASE. Vše se mi spojí v jeden celek. Temné, chladné nálady vylezou na povrch, stejně, jako to dělávají k večeru nemrtví. Tématem našich rozhovorů je samozřejmě smrt. Dá se do mě zima a chlad cítím až v morku kostí.

Nechávám se unášet na melodiích, které nejvíce připomínají asi zpěněnou řeku Styx. Houpu se, kývám do rytmu. Ze skladeb slyším melancholii, smutek, dlouhé nekonečné stíny. Mám rád, když mě kapela dokáže vtáhnout do své hry. Zažívám stavy podobné těm, které nastávají, než přijdou ve snech noční můry.

"Drifting Towards Inevitable Death" je opatřeno ledovým, čitelným zvukem, spoustou morbidních motivů, krásným obalem i produkcí. Atmosféra připomíná desky amerických INCANTATION, britských GRAVE MIASMA, ale i klasická díla doom metalových kapel. Oceňuji, že mi GOD DISEASE dokáží předat pestrou paletu černých nálad. Je hrozně příjemné s nimi procházet mezi náhrobky, zastavit se a číst si jména zemřelých. Z nedaleké márnice se ozývají podivné zvuky. Vše působí až strašidelným dojmem. Nad hřbitovem se vznáší těžká mlha. Vše je zahaleno v nepropustných pavučinách. Smrt znovu ožívá, nemrtví tančí nekonečný tanec a já vím, že se album opravdu povedlo. Kdo z nás bude další na řadě? Kdo překročí hranici mezi životem a smrtí? Ještě chvilku počkám, jdu si znovu pustit "Drifting Towards Inevitable Death". Finům se povedla zhudebnit jiskřivě studená nálada opuštěných hrobek. Podobný death metal si dám vždy s velkou chutí. Doporučuji já i zástupy nemrtvých! Skvělý počin!

I open the rusty gate and enter in. The gloomy scenery of the old cemetery lies in front of me. I'm going to meditate and relax there. There is an apparent peace. I'm sitting at a wooden bench that remembers a lot. I am listening to the new record of Finnish GOD DISEASE. Everything joins together into the one entity. Dark, cool moods come out to the surface, just as the undead are used to do it in the evening. The theme of our conversations is, of course, death. The cold enters me, and I can feel it in my bones.

I let myself drift on the melodies most reminiscent of the foamed Styx River. I swing to the rhythm. I can hear melancholy, sadness, and long endless shadows from the songs. I like it when the band can drag me into their game. I experience conditions similar to those which occur before the nightmares come into the dreams.

"Drifting Towards Inevitable Death" includes an icy, readable sound, plenty of morbid motifs, beautiful cover art, and production. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the albums of American band INCANTATION, British group GRAVE MIASMA, but also classic doom metal bands. I appreciate that GOD DISEASE is able to deliver up a wide variety of black moods. It is very nice to go through tombstones with them, then stop and read the names of the dead. The strange sounds are echoing from the nearby morgue. Everything is so scary. A heavy fog floats over the cemetery. Everything is covered in impermeable webs. Death resurrects again, undead is dancing by the endless dance, and I know the album is excellent. Who among us will be next? Who crosses the boundary between life and death? I'll wait for a while; I'm going to turn on "Drifting Towards Inevitable Death" again. GOD DISEASE succeeded to materialize the sparkly cold mood of abandoned tombs. Such death metal I will always consume with great taste. The crowds of undead and I recommend this album! Great achievement!
