Potřebuji pro svůj život muziku. Je mojí drogou, mou součástí. Nedovedu si představit, že bych chodil ulicemi jen tak, bez sluchátek na uších. Musím cítit rytmus, vznášet se na melodiích, kráčet s hlavou vztyčenou a prožívat předané emoce. Hudba je pro mě jako krásný obraz, na který se díváte a přemýšlíte, co jím chtěl umělec říct. Postojíte, pokýváte hlavou a najednou víte, že je to ono. Podobně to mám i s novinkou "The End of Chaos" od legendárních FLOTSAM AND JETSAM,

Nová deska amerických thrasherů FLOTSAM AND JETSAM mě zasáhla přímo do srdce. Už při prvních skladbách jsem věděl, že je opravdová, upřímná, chladná i vřelá zároveň, smutná i veselá, jiskřivá i plná energie. "The End of Chaos" jsem poslouchal ráno cestou do práce, během oběda, večer, když jsem znavený uléhal. Pokaždé mi měla co říct. Byla pro mě novou knihou, v které jsem si rád a s chutí četl. Dodávala mi sílu.

"The End of Chaos" lze označit za možná nejmelodičtější desku kapely. Je technická, zároveň ale nepostrádá skvělé nápady a motivy. Stále si zachovává vlastní tvář a výraz. Pořád jsou to FLOTSAM AND JETSAM se skvělým Ericem K.K. za mikrofonem, stále s vynikajícími bicími a kytarami, které řežou do živého. Je hrozně příjemné, chodit jen tak ulicemi bez cíle, užívat si energii, talent, skvělý zvuk, dívat se doma na obal. Vše mi sedlo perfektně dohromady, ve vzájemném celku, jako pečlivě vybroušený drahokam. Viděl jsem jednou v parku, sochu neznámého umělce. Byl jsem jí doslova uchvácen a po nějaké době jsem měl pocit, že se na mě usmívá. S novou deskou "The End of Chaos" je to podobné. Obsahuje v sobě zvláštní pnutí, chvění, tajemnou energii, která mi byla předána. Možná jsem již starý a moc poslouchám hudbu srdcem, ale ta, kterou nám letos přinášejí FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, je podle mého vynikající! Jak říkám, mám slabost pro dobrou hudbu, mám slabost pro krásu. Skvělá nahrávka!

New album of American thrashers FLOTSAM AND JETSAM hit me right in the heart. Already during the first songs I knew it was real, honest, cool and warm at the same time, sad and cheerful, sparkling and full of energy. "The End of Chaos" I listened at the morning on the way to work, during lunch and in the evening when I was tired. It always had something to say to me. It was as a new book for me that I read and liked to read. It gave me strength.

“The End of Chaos" can be described as perhaps the most melodic album of the band. It's technical, but it does not miss great ideas and motives at the same time. It still retains its own face and expression. They are still FLOTSAM AND JETSAM with the great Eric K.K. behind the microphone, still with excellent drums and guitars that cut into the living. It's very nice, just to walk down the streets without a goal, to enjoy energy, talent, great sound, to look at the cover at home. Everything suited me perfectly, together, like a carefully polished gem. I once saw in the park, the statue from an unknown artist. I was really impressed and after a while I felt she was smiling at me. The new album "The End of Chaos" is similar. It contains a special tension, vibration, the mysterious energy that has been given to me. Maybe I'm old and listen to music with heart, but the album that FLOTSAM AND JETSAM brings to us this year is great! As I say, I have a weakness for good music, I have a weakness for beauty. Great album!
