Přiznám se, že o hrobce s nápisem FESTERDAY jsem sice věděl, ale nijak ji dlouhodobě nesledoval. Vždycky jsem jen prošel okolo s vědomím, že se tam dějí podivné věci. Dlouhých třicet let zůstala pro moji maličkost nepovšimnuta. Sice mi o ní občas někdo vyprávěl temné a ošklivé příběhy, ale dovnitř jsem se podíval až letos. Čekala na mě jen smrt, hniloba, hnis, vztek a prašivina.
FESTERDAY do dnešní doby vydali jen samé demonahrávky, splitka, případně EP a kompilace. Letos přicházejí konečně s dlouhohrajícím albem. Jedná se o severskou drsnou death metalovou klasiku, opentlenou chladnými melodiemi, morbidním vokálem a drtivými riffy.

Album je určeno spíše pro dříve narozené a pak také pro ty, kdo se rádi přehrabují ve starých kostech. Skladby odsýpají ve stylu starých dobrých CARCASS, mokvají, pálí a žhnou. FESTERDAY jsou legendou, kapelou, která byla kdysi u zrodu šílenství zvaného death metal. Letošní nahrávka je toho jasným důkazem. Troufám si tvrdit, že se vám "Iihtallan" usadí v žilách, přemění vaši krev na černou tekutinu nevalné barvy i chuti. Skladby v sobě mají až magickou přitažlivost, lebky praskají tlakem, rakve se otvírají a z hrobů vylézají svědkové věcí minulých. Jsem moc rád, že vycházejí podobné desky. Novinku si opravdu užívám, podupávám si do rytmu a těším se na večer, až půjdu na jeden opuštěný hřbitov. Dnes hrobku s nápisem FESTERDAY navštívím rád a s chutí. Inferno může začít! Skvělý počin, u kterého ožívají nemrtví!

I admit that I already knew about the tomb with name FESTERDAY, but I did not follow it for a long time. I've always just walked around knowing that strange things are happening there. For thirty years, it has remained unnoticed to me. Sometimes someone told me dark and ugly stories about it, but I did not look in until this year. Only death, rot, pus, anger, and pussy was waiting for me.
FESTERDAY have released only demo, split, EP and compilations albums till now. This year they finally come with a long-length album. This is a Nordic harsh death metal classic with cold melodies, morbid vocals and crushing riffs.
The album is intended for the early born fans and then for those who like to poke in the old bones. The songs are drained in the style of old good CARCASS, they melt, burn and glow. FESTERDAY are a legend, a band that was part of the madness when death metal was born. This year's record is clear evidence. I dare say that „Iihtallan“ will settle in your veins, transform your blood into a black fluid of weird color and taste. Tracks including some magical attraction, the skulls are cracked by pressure, the coffins are opened, and the tombs are emerging and witnesses of old times rises from the graves. I'm so glad that similar albums are coming out. I'm really enjoying this novelty, I'm in the rhythm and look forward to the evening when I go to a deserted cemetery. Today I like to visit the tomb with the inscription FESTERDAY. Inferno can start! A great work, where the undead comes to life!
