Na této mršině lze pozorovat již značné známky procesů hnití. Jedná se o mrtvé tělo, zohavené vlastním šílenstvím. Je nutné provést první ohledání, pak mrtvolu převést do márnice, omýt, ostříhat a připravit na poslední cestu. Je také potřeba, abych zvolil hudbu, která bude znít při pohřbu. Za mě je to jasné, novinka švédských maniaků FERAL se zdá být více než vhodná. Plně totiž vystihuje to, co se děje s mrtvým tělem bezprostředně po smrti.

Volám do záhrobí a ozvěnou mi je nová deska "Flesh For Funerals Eternal". Jedná se přesně o ten druh opravdového, ryzího švédského smrtícího kovu, kterému jsem propadl již v devadesátých letech. Zde je zahrán poctivě, uvěřitelně, s absolutně mrtvolným a chladným výrazem.

FERAL neobjevují dříve objevené. Naopak, hrdě se hlásí k odkazu kapel jako INTERMENT, ENTRAILS, ENTOMBED, NIHILIST, GRAVE, DISMEMBER, REVOLTING, UNLEASHED. A hlásí se opravdu hlasitě a mocně. Pečlivě vystavěné a gradující skladby musí dělat dobře snad každému nemrtvému. Tanec na ostatcích, praskání lebek, kosti polámané tlakem. Ruka čerstvě pohřbeného trčící jako memento z právě zasypaného hrobu. Na nahrávce najdete opravdu vše, co je podle mě definicí stylu zvaného švédský death metal. Nevydržím v klidu, pořád mě to nutí vzít do ruky lopatu a vyrazit na nedaleký hřbitov. Márnice je zase plná, těla hnijí a vše se zdá být v pořádku. Nenechte se mýlit, jakmile se setmí, začnou vylézat z hrobů ty nejohavnější zombie. Mezi náhrobky se rozezní "Flesh For Funerals Eternal" a já si budu opět užívat skvělý studený zvuk, kochat se obalem a tančit se samotnou Smrtí. FERAL již nejsou jen mladí pohrobci hrající hudbu podle starých pravidel. Jsou skvěle znějícím, absolutně devastujícím masakrem, který by neměl uniknout nikomu, komu koluje v žilách zkažená severská krev! Vynikající deska, u které praskají rakve chladem!

I'm calling into the other side and the new album "Flesh For Funerals Eternal" is like an echo from there. This is exactly the kind of real, pure Swedish death metal which has engulfed me in the nineties. Here it is played honestly, believable, with an absolutely deadly and cold expression.

FERAL doesn't discover something already invented. On the contrary, they proudly follow the message of bands like INTERMENT, ENTRAILS, ENTOMBED, NIHILIST, GRAVE, DISMEMBER, REVOLTING, UNLEASHED. And they present themselves really loud and powerful. Carefully built and graduated songs must satisfy everybody undead. The dance on the skeletal remains, cracking skulls, bones broken by pressure. A hand of the freshly buried man is sticking out as a memento from the buried tomb. On this record, you can find everything that defines the style called Swedish death metal. I can’t stand without moving, it still compels me to take a shovel into my hand and go to a nearby cemetery. The morgue is full again, the bodies are rotting, and everything seems to be right. However, don’t be mistaken, because as soon as become dark, the worst zombies will begin to climb out from the graves. "Flesh For Funerals Eternal" will be sound between the tombstones and I will again enjoy the cool, cold sound, enjoy the cover and dance with Death itself. FERAL are not just young posthumous playing music according to the old rules. They are great sounding, an absolutely devastating massacre band that should not escape to anyone, in whose veins circulate the putrid Nordic blood! The excellent record, where the coffins are cracking by the cold!
