Procházím se šedivým městem, sleduji mrtvá těla, naskládaná po stranách ulice. Lidstvo se zničilo samo. Vlastní pýchou a nenávistí. Našlapuji na doutnající trosky domů. Cítím pach spálené kůže. Svět po apokalypse, chlad a smrt. Vize, kterou jsme zatím jen čítávali ve sci-fi knihách nebo slýchávali z úst šílenců, došla svého naplnění. Cesta je u konce, náš druh zahyne v nekonečných křečích.

Nová první deska super skupiny SIEGE OF POWER, složené ze slavných jmen světového death metalu (Chris Reifert, Paul Baayens, Theo van Eekelen, Bob Bagchus), mi opravdu připomíná svět po apokalypse. Devastující riffy, absolutně zničující bicí a vokál nakažený chorobami. To je smrt v přímém přenosu!

Kapela hraje na "Warning Blast" to co umí nejlépe, starý prašivý death/thrash metal nasáklý vlivem smeček jako CARNIVORE, BOLT THROWER, CELTIC FROST, HELLHAMMER, ENTOMBED, VENOM, ale i třeba takových BLACK SABBATH. Jedná se přesně o ten smrtící a devastující kov, který nám všem koluje v krvi. Deska je absolutně hnilobná, mokvající, nejvíce připomíná asi tanec nemrtvých v márnici. Ostré hroty skladeb se mi zařezávají do kůže, všude je krev a smrt číhá na každém rohu. Tohle je reálná řezničina, jak vystřižená ze starých časů. Nápadů naleznete na albu opravdu velké množství. Mašina na zabíjení byla nastartována a jako nějaký válečný buldozer před sebou hrne hromadu zmrzlých kostí! Atmosféra je nasáklá tmou a nenávistí! Apokalypsa nastane každým okamžikem! Totální death/thrash metal od nejpovolanějších! Vynikající album, které vám vyrve vnitřnosti z těla!

I am walking through the grey city and watching on the dead bodies lying on the sides of the street. Humankind destroyed itself by own vanity and hate. I trample over the burning wrecks of the house. I can smell the scent of the burnt skin. It is the world after apocalypse, so cold and death. About such vision, I just read in the sci-fi books or listened from some lunatics. The way is on its end; our species will die in never-ending convulsions.

The new and the debut record of the supergroup SIEGE OF POWER, which is consist of the famous names of the world death metal (Chris Reifert, Paul Baayens, Theo van Eekelen, Bob Bagchus), it really reminds me the world after apocalypse. Imagine the devastating riffs, absolutely crushing drums and vocal like infected by pestilence. It is death in the live broadcast.

The band on the "Warning Blast" plays music the most familiar for itself, the old death/thrash metal full of influences by bands like CARNIVORE, BOLT THROWER, CELTIC FROST, HELLHAMMER, ENTOMBED, VENOM, but also BLACK SABBATH. It is exactly such death and devastating metal, which is in our veins. The record is completely putrescent, moist, mostly reminds the dance of the undead in the mortuary. Sharp points of the songs cut under my skin, blood is everywhere, and death lurks on each corner. You can find the lot of ideas on the album. The killing machine was turned on and it pushes a lot of frozen bones in front of itself like a war bulldozer. The atmosphere is soaked by dark and hate! The apocalypse arrives very soon! Perfect death/thrash metal from the most competent! Excellent album, which will the entrails rip out from your body!
