Vracím se poslední roky rád a často ke svým kořenům. O víkendech odcházím do lesů a hledám tmu a chlad. Tentokrát jsem se vydal po stopách šílené, divoké šelmy. Přišla k nám ze starých časů, z doby, kdy temnota vládla světu. Ostrý vítr mě šlehá do tváře, jsem sám. Nespím a našlapuji tiše. Konečně ji uvidím. Rohatá bestie, žijící v jedné staré jeskyni. Zrovna trhá svoji další oběť. Mršina je ohlodaná na kost. Stejně jako letošní nové album black thrash metalových SARKE.
Poslouchat novou desku, je jako se vydat na dlouhou cestu zasněženou krajinou. Po stopách samotného ďábla. Hudba byla vždy o emocích, o vzájemném vztahu. Musí v člověku probouzet emoce, pálit ho, chladit, být kusem rozžhaveného železa. SARKE tohle všechno umí. Jejich black thrash metal je opět ohlodaný až na kost. A ušpiněný čerstvou krví.
Sedávám před horskou chatou a sleduji netopýry, jak létají kolem. Čtu si příběhy ze starých časů a vnímám hudbu všemi póry svého těla. Oheň byl znovu zapálen a když vylezu druhý den na kopec, dívám se do krajiny a moc dobře vím, že do těchto míst nové album "Endo Feight" patří. Má náležitě chladný zvuk, obsahuje pořádnou a poctivou porci ostrých riffů. Už jste někdy vyvrhovali zastřelené zvíře? Omluvili jste se mu za smrt a vzdali čest jeho síle? Pokud ne, tak si poslechněte tuhle desku a garantuji vám, že i když se s ní potkáte v hlučném městě, přenese vás do otevřené, prázdné krajiny. Jenom nebe, zem a krvavé kořeny, které nakonec všichni hledáme. Síla půdy, síla země a mrazivého vzduchu. Zvukově opět velmi povedené album, se spoustou zajímavých nápadů, které opravdu nejvíce vynikly v absolutní tmě. Na lovu, o samotě. Black metal, thrash, ale i s vlivy od starých rockových veteránů. Vše smíchané s ledem a nahrubo nasekanou tmou. K zemi padá čerstvý sníh a nebe je černé jako vaše svědomí. SARKE jsou ve velmi dobré formě. Stále funguje vzájemná chemie mezi muzikanty, pořád jsou skladby svěží a pestré. Zahalené do husté mlhy. Pokud máte rádi tajemno, dlouhé toulky lesem i stará pohřebiště v lesích, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. Skladby jsou neklidné, jedovaté, mrazivé, jako život samotný. I like to go back to my roots often. On weekends I go into the woods and seek the darkness and the cold. This time, I'm on the trail of a crazy, wild beast. It came to us from the old days, from a time when darkness ruled the world. A sharp wind whips my face, I'm alone. I'm awake and I'm treading quietly. At last I see her. A horned beast, living in an old cave. It's tearing at its next victim. The carcass is gnawed to the bone. Just like this year's new album from black thrash metal band SARKE.
Listening to the new album is like going on a long journey through a snowy landscape. In the footsteps of the devil himself. Music has always been about emotions, about relationships. It has to awaken emotions in a person, burn him, cool him, be a piece of hot iron. SARKE can do all that. Their black thrash metal is once again gnawed to the bone. And stained with fresh blood.
I'm sitting in front of a mountain hut watching bats fly by. I read stories from the old days and feel the music through every pore of my body. The fire has been rekindled and when I climb the hill the next day, I look out at the landscape and know full well that the new album "Endo Feight" belongs in these places. It has a suitably chill sound, and contains a good and honest helping of sharp riffs. Have you ever eviscerated a shot animal? Have you apologized for its death and honored its strength? If not, give this record a listen and I guarantee that even if you encounter it in a noisy city, it will transport you to an open, empty landscape. Just heaven, earth and the bloody roots we all seek in the end. The power of the soil, the power of the earth and the freezing air. Sonically again a very good album, with lots of interesting ideas that really stood out the most in the absolute darkness. On the hunt, alone. Black metal, thrash, but also with influences from old rock veterans. All mixed with ice and coarsely chopped darkness. Fresh snow falls to the ground and the sky is as black as your conscience. The SARKE are in very good shape. The chemistry between the musicians still works, the songs are still fresh and varied. Wrapped in a thick fog. If you like mystery, long wanderings through the woods and old burial grounds in the woods, don't hesitate a moment. The songs are restless, poisonous, chilling, like life itself.
