Pokaždé, když spadneš na zem a budeš polykat prach, tak se musíš zvednout. Můžeš utéct, můžeš se rvát, ale vždycky musíš stát na nohou. Zákony ulice jsou neúprosné a nekompromisní. Stejně jako hudba brazilských LACERATED AND CARBONIZED. Tahle kapela působí na scéně od roku 2005 a má na svém kontě tři dlouhohrající alba. Letos přichází se čtvrtým a již od prvního poslechu je jasné, že dostanete pořádnou porci shnilého masa.
Pánové na mě působí jako smečka prašivých psů, kteří útočí promyšleně. Skladby mají jasné a zřetelné motivy, dobře se poslouchají. Základem je starý death metal, ale setkáme se i s thrashem a spoustou zajímavých melodií. Pro mě je potom nejdůležitější, že mě baví album poslouchat. Cítím ze skladeb opravdovost, ryzost, realitu špinavé ulice.
Na tuhle desku jsem narazil na svých nekonečných toulkách podsvětím. Zaujal mě obal od mistra Edu Nascimentta a s chutí si užívám i syrový zvuk (Marcelo Oliveira - recording, mixing, mastering). Album má něco málo přes 38 minut a nenudím se ani chvilku. Líbí se mi takový ten jihoamerický temperament. Songy působí neklidně, připadám si jako bych opravdu šel po temné ulici na periferii města. Neustále se ohlížím za sebe. Nevím, odkud můžu útok čekat. S nahrávkou to mám velmi podobné. Cítím z ní energii, drive, takovou tu pradávnou sílu, které v sobě mají kapely, které hrají srdcem. LACERATED AND CARBONIZED vás roztrhají na kusy. A udělají to inteligentně, chytře. Atmosféra je zdánlivě pochmurná, nad zemí se povaluje smog. Budeš dnes lovcem a nebo obětí? Je to jen na tobě. Jsem moc rád, že se mi dostalo "Limbo" do rukou. Jinak bych byl ochuzen o opravdový gurmánský zážitek. Nikdy nevíte, kdy potkáte svoji smrt. Měli bychom svůj vyměřený čas na zemi trávit smysluplně a žít naplno. Brazilci to moc dobře vědí a dávají do hudby vše. Líbí se mi nadšení a odhodlání, s jakým na mě tahle smečka rozzuřených psů útočí. Pokud máte rádi klasický, tradiční sound a rádi se kývete do rytmu, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. The laws of the street are relentless and uncompromising. Just like the music of Brazil's LACERATED AND CARBONIZED. This band has been on the scene since 2005 and has three full-length albums to their credit. This year they come with the fourth one and from the first listen it is clear that you will get a good portion of rotten meat.
The gentlemen strike me as a pack of mangy dogs that attack with deliberate intent. The songs have clear and distinct themes and are easy to listen to. The basis is old death metal, but we also meet thrash and a lot of interesting melodies. The most important thing for me is that I enjoy listening to the album. I can feel from the songs the realness, the purity, the reality of the dirty street.
I came across this record on my endless wanderings through the underworld. I'm intrigued by the cover artwork by master Edu Nascimento and I'm enjoying the raw sound (Marcelo Oliveira - recording, mixing, mastering). The album is just over 38 minutes long and I'm not bored for a moment. I like the South American temperament. The songs have a restless feel, I feel like I'm really walking down a dark street on the outskirts of the city. I keep looking behind me. I don't know where to expect an attack from. It's very similar with the record. I can feel the energy, the drive, that ancient power that bands that play with their hearts have. LACERATED AND CARBONIZED will tear you apart. And they do it intelligently, cleverly. The atmosphere is seemingly bleak, with smog hovering over the land. Will you be the hunter or the hunted tonight? It's up to you. I'm so glad I got my hands on "Limbo". Otherwise, I would have been deprived of a true gourmet experience. You never know when you'll meet your death. We should spend our allotted time on earth meaningfully and live life to the fullest. The Brazilians know this very well, and they put everything into their music. I love the passion and determination with which this pack of rabid dogs attack me. If you like the classic, traditional sound and like to sway to the beat, don't hesitate a moment.
