Když jsem do téhle staré jeskyně ve skalách vstoupil poprvé, překvapilo mě velké množství kostí a kusů masa, které se válely u vchodu. Neskutečný zápach. Dostal jsem strach. Přes záda mi přeběhl mráz a krve by se ve mě nedořezal. Nejdřív jsem slyšel jenom tichý, bolestivý nářek, ale jak jsem šel dále a hlouběji do podzemí, ozýval se z chodeb neskutečný řev. Bolest, nenávist a absolutní zlo. Přesně na tyhle věci jsem myslel, když jsem poznal australskou bestii s názvem BURIAL CHAMBER poprvé.
Bylo to v roce 2017, když vydali zabijácké album "Ripping the Dead" (odkaz na recenzi naleznete dole pod článkem). Kapela se letos vrátila, aby nás opět vzala na dlouhý výlet bez konce. Do smradlavých chodeb v podzemí, ve kterých sídlí pradávná death metalová bestie. Žádné slitování, žádné kompromisy, jenom krutá a reálná smrt.
Pokud jste fanoušci třeba takových SUFFOCATION, CENOTAPH, BROKEN HOPE, GUTTED, MONSTROSITY, BRUTALITY a samozřejmě CANNIBAL CORPSE, mohla by se vám líbit i novinka "Symbolic Flesh Entombed". Je po okraj narvaná dobrými riffy, zkaženým masem a temnotou. To vše je zamícháno ve smrtícím koktejlu, který doporučuji vypít chlazený. Australané se drží starých postupů i zvuku a dělají to moc dobře. Nepřinášejí sice nic nového, ale nahrávka rozhodně není jen dobrým řemeslem. Naopak, má v sobě potřebné množství tlaku, energie a smrdí jako zanícená rána. Připomíná mi chorobu z devadesátých let minulého století, kterou jsme byli kdysi všichni fanoušci nakaženi. Zároveň, a to je pro mě velmi podstatné, se album velmi dobře poslouchá. Je opravdu příjemné zhasnout všechna světla a přidávat neustále hlasitost. Zapomenout nesmíme ani na parádní obal, pod kterým je podepsán Remy Cuveillier z Francie (také kytara v kapele FORGE). Jako celek drží deska pevně a kompaktně pohromadě. Při každém setkání si vzpomenu na bestii z jeskyně ve skalách. Mám neodbytný pocit, že se zase probudila. Poslouchá také "Symbolic Flesh Entombed" a touží po čerstvém mase. Novinku vám mohu jen doporučit a označit ji známkou vysoké kvality. Zabijácký death metal, který vás vyvrhne zaživa!

When I entered this old cave in the rocks for the first time, I was surprised by the large number of bones and pieces of meat that were lying at the entrance. The smell was unbelievable. I got scared. A chill ran down my back and I couldn't finish the blood inside me. At first all I heard was a low, pained wail, but as I went further and further underground, an incredible roar came from the corridors. Pain, hatred and absolute evil. These were the things I thought of when I first met the Australian beast called BURIAL CHAMBER.
It was back in 2017 when they released their killer album "Ripping the Dead" (link to review at the bottom of the article). The band returned this year to once again take us on a long road trip with no end in sight. To the stinking underground corridors where the ancient death metal beast resides. No mercy, no compromise, just cruel and real death.
If you are a fan of SUFFOCATION, CENOTAPH, BROKEN HOPE, GUTTED, MONSTROSITY, BRUTALITY and of course CANNIBAL CORPSE, you might also like the new "Symbolic Flesh Entombed". It's packed to the brim with good riffs, wicked flesh and darkness. It's all stirred up in a deadly cocktail that I recommend drinking chilled. The Aussies stick to the old ways and sound and do it very well. They don't bring anything new to the table, but the recording is definitely not just good craftsmanship. On the contrary, it has the necessary amount of pressure, energy and smells like an inflamed wound. It reminds me of a disease from the 1990s that all of us fans were once infected with. At the same time, and this is very important to me, the album is very easy to listen to. It's really nice to turn off all the lights and turn up the volume constantly. Not to forget the awesome cover artwork, signed by Remy Cuveillier from France (also guitarist in FORGE). As a whole, the album holds together tightly and compactly. Every time I see it, I think of the beast from the cave in the rocks. I have an insistent feeling that it has awakened again. She also listens to "Symbolic Flesh Entombed" and craves fresh meat. I can only recommend this new release and mark it with the mark of high quality. Killer death metal that will eviscerate you alive!
